Device for machine-making a dunnage product
In a device for machine-making a dunnage product from a single- or multi-ply continuous paper web comprising a delivery conveyor for drawing in a paper web into the device whereby a conveying direction is defined and a cutter for separating the dunnage product from a three-dimensional strand of dunnage material formed from the paper web within the device, it is provided that a removal conveyor succeeds in the conveying direction to the cutter, the removal conveyor transporting the separated dunnage product away from the cutter.
ULTRASONIC PUNCHING APPARATUS AND ULTRASONIC PUNCHING METHOD
Peripheral surfaces of holes formed are fixed in place and processed sheet is obtained in a state where the hole pattern is formed accurately. The apparatus is provided with a die on a surface of which are formed projecting parts corresponding to a hole pattern to be added to a processed sheet, an ultrasonic horn provided facing the die and outputting an ultrasonic wave toward a surface of the die, and a conveyor mechanism superposing over the processed sheet a resin sheet for melt bonding with and recovering pieces of the processed sheet punched out from the holes, passing the sheets between the die and the ultrasonic horn, and separating the resin sheet and the processed sheet after passage.

METHODS OF MAKING ELASTIC BELTS FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLES
The present disclosure is directed to methods of manufacturing elastic belts for absorbent articles. The elastic belts may be used as waist bands, or portions thereof, in absorbent articles. The elastic belts may define a first nonwoven substrate, a second nonwoven substrate, and a plurality of elastic strands positioned intermediate the first and second nonwoven substrates. The elastic belts may define a plurality of apertures therethrough to create breathability in the elastic belts.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet processing apparatus includes a conveyance portion, a punching portion, a moving portion, a first detecting portion, and a control unit configured to control the conveyance portion, the punching portion and the moving portion, wherein the control unit is configured, for a target position of each of a plurality of holes to be formed to a single sheet, to cause the first detecting portion to execute a detection process, and to execute a moving process of moving the moving portion based on the output value of the first detecting portion corresponding to the target position and a punching process of performing punching to the target position of the sheet by the punching portion after the moving process has been completed.
Systems and methods for cutting or perforating a web material
Systems and methods utilizing stationary and/or moveable cutting components provide limited interference with web processing operations, such as pad spin and pitch alteration. Heat, laser, fluid, or mechanical cutting operations may be used, including respectively, a heated element (e.g., wire, ribbon, bar, or embossing or perforating element) that may be triggered inductively, water or steam jets, or improved knife/anvil cooperation.

Cutting system, and a method for cutting a web or sheet of material
The present disclosure relates to a cutting system for providing holes in a core material layer. The cutting system has a cutting tool having a cutting knife configured to cut through the core material layer, and an anvil having a rigid support surface for receiving the cutting knife of the cutting tool. The cutting system further has an elastic member that is positioned to absorb at least a part of a force applied when the cutting tool is pressed against said anvil.
Perforation tool for a device for the production by machine of a filling material product and a device for the production by machine of a filling material product
Perforation tool for a device for the manufacturing by machine of a dunnage material which is to be formed of a single layer or multi-layer paper web whereby the perforation tool is configured for introducing a perforation into the dunnage material and comprises: at least one perforation nose, at least one perforation reception wherein the at least one perforation nose and the at least one perforation reception are associated with each other such that, for perforating, the at least one perforation nose can retract and extend with respect to the at least one perforation reception, and at least one stripper which is associated with the at least one perforation nose and/or the at least one perforation reception such that, when disengaging, perforated dunnage material is removed from the at least one perforation nose and/or from the at least one perforation reception.
