The support portion is supported to the base portion for supporting the cutting unit. The support portion includes a rod extending in a sliding direction in parallel to the mount surface and perpendicular to a rotation axis of the saw blade, and a slide-support portion through which the rod slidably extends. The smoothening member is provided between the slide-support portion and the rod. The sealing structure is provided between the slide-support portion and the rod and includes a first seal member provided at one end of the smoothening member, a second seal member provided at an another end of the smoothening member, and a third seal member positioned opposite to the smoothening member with respect to the first seal member.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL SAW APPARATUS AND METHOD
A multiple function saw includes a base including an arm selectively movable with respect to the base, the arm being selectively rotatable about a first arm axis at a first end of the arm, towards and away from a substantially planar top surface of the base. A saw having a housing is coupled to the arm at a second end of the arm. The multiple function saw is adjustable to operate in multiple different modes including a first mode with the arm being selectively rotatable about the first arm axis, a second mode with the arm being constrained from rotating about the first arm axis, the arm being substantially stationary with respect to the base, wherein the saw is pivotable about a vertical axis at the second end of the arm such that a face of a saw blade is positionable to operate as a table saw, and a third mode with the saw being moveable horizontally along the base to operate as a radial saw.
Semi-autonomous rescue apparatus
A cutting device is configured to attach to a boom arm and includes a saw assembly with a cutting portion configured to cut into a target surface. The cutting device also includes a motor assembly coupled to the saw assembly. The motor assembly has at least two motors configured to rotate the saw assembly about two different axes. The cutting device further comprises a control system operatively coupled to the motor assembly. The control system has at least two sensors coupled to the saw assembly and the control system is configured to position the saw assembly to cut a target surface based on feedback from the at least sensors.
MITER SAW
A miter saw includes a base assembly, a bevel arm pivotably coupled to the base assembly, and a saw unit pivotably coupled to the bevel arm about a horizontal chop axis. The saw unit includes a saw blade rotatable about a blade axis and a motor having an output shaft inclined at an oblique included angle relative to the blade axis. The miter saw also includes a guide rail coupling the saw unit to the base assembly and a battery selectively electrically connectable with the motor to provide power to the motor. The bevel arm and saw unit are pivotable relative to the base assembly, from an orientation in which the saw blade is substantially vertical, in both a first direction about the bevel axis by a bevel angle of at least about 45 degrees and an opposite, second direction by a bevel angle of at least about 45 degrees.

COMBINED REFLEX AND LASER SIGHT WITH ELEVATION MACRO-ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM
A combined reflex and laser sighting device is provided. In one aspect, the reflex sight and one or more laser elements are coaligned, such that both the reflex sight and the laser sight can be sighted in or boresighted to a weapon together in a single operation. In another aspect, one or more laser elements are mounted within a laser bench and aligned with a reflex sight attached to the laser bench. In yet another aspect, a plurality of laser elements are provided within the laser bench and are coaligned with each other and the reflex sight. In another aspect, a mounting block with yielding vertical and horizontal webs is provided to allow windage and elevation adjustments to be made to the reflex sight and laser elements together. In still another aspect, an elevation macro-adjustment mechanism is provided to provide a simple adjustment that that realign the sight to a weapon to accommodate different shooting scenarios, such as different velocity rounds, different target distances, and elevational differences of the shooter's vantage point.

Dustless miter saw
A dustless compound sliding miter saw with a built-in dust collection system is disclosed. The dustless compound sliding miter saw uses an extraction turbine to create a vacuum region at the end of the blade exist from the cut wood piecework, the blade housing has an external extraction channel and an external suction tube to maximize the dust collection. A retractable dust guard is utilized to confine the sawdust in the vacuum region to further maximize the dust collection. The compound sliding miter saw also utilizes anti-dust blade guard and air flow guide fins to optimize the airflow and the dust extraction. The compound sliding miter saw has a rail system that slides the blade from front to back and extends the maximum cutting length. The compound sliding miter saw has a built-in beveling mechanism to tile the blade and cut down through the wood at an angle.
