POWER TOOL ANGLE ASSIST
Power tool methods and systems are provided for aligning a power tool to implement an angled cut in a workpiece. The power tool includes a first distance sensor and a second distance sensor. The power tool measures a first distance to the workpiece with the first distance sensor and a second distance to the workpiece with the second distance sensor. The power tool calculates an angle between the power tool and the workpiece based on the first and second distances, and indicates the angle via an angle output indicator of the power tool. The power tool may measure an angle between the power tool and the workpiece using a proximate edge and a distal edge of the workpiece, and indicate whether the power tool maintains a correct angle as it traverses a cut through the workpiece from the proximate edge to the distal edge.
Automated system and method for lumber picking
A system including a lumber-pickup arm having a plurality of suction cups in a staggered configuration to pick up a piece of lumber that may be cracked, crooked or askew on the pile of lumber from which it is to be picked. In some embodiments, the system performs a method that includes locating a selected piece of lumber to be picked up; lowering the pickup arm so that at least some of the plurality of suction cups are seated on a first surface of the selected piece of lumber; reducing air pressure within the at least some of the plurality of suction cups; raising and moving the pickup arm to move the piece of lumber to a first destination; and increasing air pressure within the at least some of the plurality of suction cups to release the piece of lumber at the first destination Cups not holding vacuum are deactivated.
TABLETOP CUTTING DEVICE
An operation knob is attached to one end of a transmission rod. The transmission rod is located in a slide bar supporting a cutting device main body so as to be slidable in a front-to-rear direction. A pulley of a belt transmission mechanism is joined to the other end of the transmission rod, and a click mechanism is arranged around a portion of the pulley. The click mechanism provides a tactile sensation (e.g. click feeling or feeling of moderation) and improves operability of the operation knob.

Portable sawmill
A sawmill includes a four-stroke internal combustion engine having an output shaft for driving a sawblade. The output shaft has a longitudinal axis. The engine is mounted on the sawmill for rotation between a first operative position with the longitudinal axis of the output shaft extending at a first angle, and a second operative position with the longitudinal axis of the output shaft extending at a second angle transversely to the first angle. The engine has fuel injection to facilitate operation in the first and second operative positions and a lubrication system incorporating a wet sump. An oil pick up for the lubrication system is configured to pick up oil from the wet sump at both the first and second operative positions.

FOLDABLE MITER SAW WITH A SAW BLADE LIMITING MEMBER
A foldable miter saw with a saw blade limiting member includes a base unit, a worktable unit and a cutting unit. The worktable unit is rotatably disposed on the base unit and includes a working surface, an outer ring surface and an axial block. The cutting unit includes a rotatable member disposed on the axial block, a supporting arm pivotally disposed on the rotatable member, and a saw blade and a driving member mounted on the supporting arm. The supporting arm includes an inner side surface and a limiting member which protrudes from the inner side surface towards the outer side. When the cutting unit is in the folded position, an end face of the saw blade is disposed in proximity to the working surface, and the limiting member is disposed in proximity of the outer ring surface and between the top surface and the bottom surface.
