Coupling device for towed agricultural machinery
09820423 · 2017-11-21 · ·

A device for coupling towed agricultural machines comprising a fastener for fastening to a frame of the machine, a connecting arm extending substantially longitudinally away from the frame of the agricultural machine, and a coupling head comprising coupling mechanism. The coupling head allows said connecting arm to rotate relative to the towing apparatus about a first axis of rotation which is substantially perpendicular to an operating surface of the agricultural machine. The connecting arm is rotatably connected to the fastener about a second axis of rotation, and further comprises reversible locking mechanism for locking the rotation of the connecting arm.

TWO-POINT HITCH MOUNT SYSTEMS
20170246924 · 2017-08-31 ·

Two-point hitch mount systems for connecting an implement to a tow vehicle having two hitch arms are disclosed. The hitch mount systems may include a shaft configured to be attached to the two hitch arms of the tow vehicle and a yoke assembly. The yoke assembly includes a first and second shaft slots for removably receiving the shaft.

PARALLEL HITCHING FOR MODULAR POWER UNITS
20170231146 · 2017-08-17 ·

During coordinated operation of multiple different modular traction power units (MPUs), a desired change in relative tractive effort contributed by each of the MPUs is identified. Relative distances between a connection point for each MPU and an implement hitch point is determined, in order to identify a hitch bar target position that will achieve the identified relative tractive effort contribution. The hitch bar is adjusted to make distance adjustments, based on the target position, to achieve the identified relative tractive effort for the MPUs.

AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WITH EASILY SERVICED TRUNNION

An agricultural implement includes a frame and an adjustment system on the frame. The adjustment system includes a first component and a second component connected by a trunnion connection. The trunnion connection includes first and second opposed confronting trunnion blocks, each defining a hole therethrough, the holes being aligned one with the other. A trunnion shaft is disposed in the holes of the trunnion blocks and has ends extending beyond outer surfaces of the trunnion blocks. At least one end of the trunnion shaft defines an opening therethrough. End stops are provided at each end of the trunnion shaft, at least one of the end stops having a portion insertable into the opening. The end stops are larger than the aligned holes to prevent withdrawal of the trunnion shaft from the trunnion blocks.

AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WITH TURNBUCKLE LATCHING MECHANISM

An agricultural implement includes a chassis; a linkage carried by the chassis; a turnbuckle connected to the linkage and having a frame which includes a threaded hole formed therein and a non-circular region; and a latch pivotable about a fulcrum carried above the frame. The latch has a notch formed therein which is shaped to prevent substantial rotation of the frame when engaged with the non-circular region of the frame.
