METHOD FOR PRODUCING A RECTANGULAR WOODEN PANEL FROM INDIVIDUAL BOARDS AND WOODEN PANEL MANUFACTURING DEVICE
20240367338 · 2024-11-07 ·

A system and method for producing a rectangular wooden panel with boards extending diagonally at an angle (), where each of the boards has opposite longitudinal sides and transverse sides includes a trimming device for trimming the transverse sides of the boards at an angle (90). The trimmed boards are transported to a position in front a joining station, and the boards are arranged at angle () in relation to a direction of displacement. The boards are then glued on at least the longitudinal side facing a board already located in the joining station, and then inserted into the joining station with a displacement device that includes a plurality of towing trolleys arranged on a coupling bar. The displacement device travels a displacement path in the displacement direction that runs parallel to the orientation of the transverse sides of the boards. The inserted board is pressed and glued to the board already in the joining station. These steps are repeated until a wooden panel of the desired size is achieved. Then, a triangular gusset is made with a cut running perpendicular to the transverse sides at one end of the wooden panel to produce a first right-angled side edge, and this cut-off gusset is then glued at the opposite end of the wooden panel such that a second right-angled side edge is produced. The system includes a controller which controls the cutting, gluing, pressing, joining, and displacement operations.

VENEER ASSEMBLY DEVICE AND VENEER ASSEMBLING METHOD USING THE SAME

A movable conveyor 42 of a post-gluing conveyor 33 (sliding extendable roller conveyor) is provided, in a front portion, with a non-driving roller 42d (guiding roller) disposed so as to be inclined toward a reference surface (ruler) 42e at a predetermined angle with respect to a width direction such that a leading end of a veneer is guided toward the reference surface (ruler) 42e (one lateral side) of a movable conveyor 42. When the veneer is detected by a veneer detecting sensor 45 (veneer detecting means), a post-gluing conveyor controller 47 (slide movement control means) retracts the movable conveyor 42 in an extended state, in a contracting direction in a state in which forward rotational driving of a driving roller 42a of the movable conveyor 42 is maintained.

Method and device for producing a ply involved in the construction of a multi-ply panel

There is a method for producing a ply involved in the construction of a multi-ply panel for constructing or adding to a wall, floor or ceiling, or a sloping part for a building. The ply includes a juxtaposition of strips, either structural strips or filling strips, positioned between the structural strips and made of a different material from that of the structural strips. The materials are selected for the thermal or acoustic insulation thereof, the thermal inertia thereof or the fire rsistance thereof. Each lateral movement of a ply being produced with respect to the assembly plane is carried out by the synchronized movement of a table with which the lower face of the ply is in contact and a driver with which the upper face of the ply is in contact. There is an installation for implementing the method according to the invention.

Segmented Wood Bracing Assembly

A segmented wood bracing assembly includes a base that has an upper surface a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A pair of rails is attached to the base and extends between the first and second lateral edges. Each of a plurality of cradles receives a plurality of wood sections to be glued together into a polygonal shape. The cradles include a receiver having a top side, a first side edge and a second side edge. The top side has a convexly arcuate section for receiving the wood sections. Each of the first and second side edges has one of a pair of clamps mounted thereon. A strap has a first end and a second end. Each of the first and second ends is removably engaged to one of the clamps. The clamps is actuated to locked position to tighten the strap over the top side.
