Straw Crushing and Inter-Furrow Collecting-Mulching No-Tillage Seeder
The invention relates to an agricultural seeding machine, in particular to a straw crushing and inter-furrow collecting-mulching no-tillage seeder. A straw-crushing device, a guide device, a fertilizer discharging device, and a furrowing and seeding device are sequentially arranged on a rack from front to back. According to the guide device, a plurality of straw-crushing guide assemblies having installation positions capable of being horizontally adjusted are arranged on an adjustment crossbeam, are in a prow shape, and each consist of a rear vertical back plate formed with a fertilization port, and two front symmetrical oblique guide plates. Straw is orderly spread on straw mulching belts between seeding belts while being crushed within the working range, and thus, the seeding belts are free of straw obstacles. The straw crushing and inter-furrow collecting-mulching no-tillage seeder is high in working integrity, easy to assemble, and low in energy consumption.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN IMPLEMENT CONNECTED TO A VEHICLE
A system and method for controlling an agricultural implement connected to a vehicle is described. An actuator is arranged to control a lateral position of the implement with respect to the vehicle, also influencing the vertical angle of the implement. A camera mounted on the implement is connected to an image processing system which is adapted to derive the position of at least one row of plants in an image provided by the camera. An implement control unit controls the actuator to move the implement to a desired position based upon the derived position of the at least one row of plants, and a compensation arrangement compensates for the rotation of the camera around the vertical axis caused by the actuator based on the position of the actuator.
Automatic target recognition and management system
An apparatus for controlling weeds, which includes a tine formation adapted to remove or disrupt targeted weeds, and a tine support assembly adapted to support the tine for movement about a first control axis in a generally vertical direction between an engaged position wherein the tine formation in use contacts a ground surface for removal or disruption of targeted weeds and a disengaged position wherein the tine formation is substantially retracted from the ground surface. The tine support assembly is further adapted to support the tine for movement about a second control axis in a generally horizontal direction. The tine support assembly further includes a first actuation mechanism adapted to effect movement of the tine about the first control axis, and a second actuation mechanism adapted to effect movement of the tine about the second control axis. The apparatus also includes a sensing system for sensing aspects of an environment and generating data indicative thereof, and a classification system for identifying target weeds within the environment on the basis of the data from the sensing system. A control system is adapted to activate the first and second actuation mechanisms of the tine support assembly in accordance with a predetermined control logic thereby sequentially to position the tine for disruptive contact with the targeted weeds.
Carrier arm assembly and agricultural machine including carrier arm assembly
A carrier arm assembly for an operating unit of an agricultural machine includes a carrier arm having a base part and an extending part that is telescopically adjustable relative to the base part to adjust the length of the carrier arm between an unextended configuration and an extended configuration. The base part and the extending part both include a set of bearing surfaces that are configured to enable sliding movement of the extending part relative to the base part. The bearing surfaces of the base part include upper inclined bearing surfaces and lower inclined bearing surfaces, and the bearing surfaces of the extending part include upper inclined bearing surfaces and lower inclined bearing surfaces, which are configured to engage respectively the upper inclined bearing surfaces and the lower inclined bearing surfaces of the base part.
Tillage Point Having Variable Ground Engaging Structure
The present invention provides a tillage point having a ground engaging structure configured to adjust with respect to the ground so that the tillage point can flexibly adapt to various field conditions. The ground engaging structure can comprise wings for increasing soil fracture below the ground surface and/or a cover board for moving soil along the ground surface. The ground engaging structure can variably adjust using an actuator, such as a hydraulic cylinder, connected to linkage which can move the ground engaging structure through multiple angles about a pivot point during tillage operations. In addition, a controller can adjust the actuator to maintain an angle of the ground engaging structure according to a location on a prescription map.
Ground-engaging implement with lateral position adjustment
A laterally movable carrier is associated with a row frame. The carrier is connected to a frame member, an opener, a first outlet and a second outlet to allow for dynamically variable adjustment of the lateral separation between a first row of planted seed and a second row of planted seed, where the first row of seed is adjacent to the second row of seed.
COMPACT ROW CLOSER AND ROW CLEANER ASSEMBLIES
An apparatus and system for adjustably controlling the position and depth of row closer wheels in no-till planting applications, the apparatus comprising a frame, a piston movably secured at the top to the frame, upper and lower parallel arms disposed about the piston and movably secured at one end to the frame and at the other end to a hub stem, and a set of piston arms each movably secured at the top to one of the upper or lower parallel arms and at the other end to the bottom of the piston. A closing wheel assembly having a closing wheel frame and a set of closing wheels pivotally mounted to a lever on a single axle assembly allows the operator to change the angle at which the closing wheels intersect the ground surface during use. Accordingly, as the angle of the lever is manipulated, the angle of the closing wheel pivotally mounted to that lever changes in the vertical and/or horizontal dimensions.
Frame assembly and actuator arrangement for agricultural implements
A tillage implement is configured to be towed behind an agricultural vehicle. An implement frame has a first lengthwise frame member, a second lengthwise frame member, and a lateral frame member connected to and extending between the first and second lengthwise frame members. A tool assembly is pivotally connected to the implement frame and includes a ground engaging member. An actuator has a first portion connected to the implement frame and a second portion connected to the tool assembly. Movement of the actuator adjusts the position of the tool assembly relative to the implement frame. The lateral frame member includes an actuator opening and at least a portion of the actuator extends into the actuator opening and the lateral frame member.
Frame assembly and actuator arrangement for agricultural imglements
