An anchor assembly for a post-tensioning tendon may include a compact anchor and wedge. The compact anchor may include a wedge extension having a frustoconical inner surface. The frustoconical inner surface may have a diameter of 0.95 inches or less. The compact wedge may have a length of 1.1 inches or less. The compact anchor and compact wedge may be formed from steel having no added lead. The compact anchor and wedge may be formed by cold heading.

The present application pertains to pre-tensioning machine for prestressing concrete. The machine includes a hydraulic circuit with a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic cylinder contained within a stanchion. The stanchion having a nose piece to fit around a tendon. The machine further includes an interface having a controller and a display. The machine may be coupled to a tendon and put tension on that tendon using the hydraulic cylinder as controlled at the interface by an operator.

A system for coating reinforcing fiber of a composite component is provided, The system includes a frame including at least one contact location for contacting the reinforcing fiber and a movement mechanism including an actuator. The movement mechanism is operably coupled to the frame to induce movement of the reinforcing fiber relative to the frame. Methods are also provided for coating such a fiber.
