The present invention relates to an assembly which includes: a chassis for a mobile land vehicle, in particular an agricultural or public works vehicle; at least two half-crossmembers (21) mounted telescopically on the chassis; wheel mountings (27) pivotably mounted on each one of said half-crossmembers; steered wheels rotatably mounted on said mountings; and a device for controlling the direction of the wheels. The assembly is characterized in that it includes means (39, 41, 47) designed, for a certain position of two half-crossmembers, to increase, upon the pivoting of the wheels, the opening of the said wheels relative to the opening of the wheels resulting from the same pivoting and another position of the two half-crossmembers.

Agricultural machine having wheels with adjustable camber angle

An undercarriage for an agricultural machine includes a hollow axle, and a stub axle slidably received within the hollow axle. A lock arrangement locks a longitudinal position of the stub axle relative to the hollow axle. At least one shim is positioned at an outboard end of the hollow axle to adjust the distance between said stub axle and said hollow axle.

Agricultural Application Machine with Track Adjustment

An apparatus for working a field includes a chassis, at least one telescoping axle coupled to the chassis, wheels coupled to the telescoping axle and operably supporting the chassis, at least one sensor coupled to the chassis, and a central controller. The sensor is configured to measure sensor data indicative of a distance between at least one row of crops and at least one wheel. The central controller is configured to provide instructions to a hydraulic manifold to adjust the telescoping axle to change a distance of the at least one wheel from a centerline of the chassis based on the distance between the row and the wheel. Related methods and control systems are also disclosed.

Agricultural vehicle support frame

An Agricultural vehicle has a frame supported by a front pair of wheels and a back pair of wheels, wherein the back pair of wheels are steerable and wherein each wheel of the back pair of wheels is connected to the frame via a respective intermediate support element that is pivotable with respect to the frame in such a manner that the back pair of wheels are movable between a first position wherein the back pair of wheels defines a first track width and are positioned at a first distance from the front pair of wheels, and a second position wherein the back pair of wheels defines a second track width and are positioned at a second distance from the front pair of wheels, wherein the first track width is larger than the second track width and wherein the first distance is smaller than the second distance.

ADJUSTABLE LIFT ASSIST FRAME FOR AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT

In one embodiment, an agricultural system includes a tool bar configured to couple to a tow vehicle. The tool bar is configured to support at least one row unit assembly. The agricultural system also includes a lift assist assembly coupled to the tool bar such that rotation of the tool bar relative to the lift assist assembly about a vertical axis is blocked. The lift assist assembly is configured to provide lifting support to the tool bar. The lift assist assembly comprises a frame, one or more rolling elements configured to contact a surface of a field, and one or more telescoping members configured to adjust a configuration of the lift assist assembly along at least one of a lateral axis, a longitudinal axis, and the vertical axis.
