This invention generally relates to a mixing at least one material with at least one other material within an in-line mixing device. In one example embodiment methods, apparatuses, and systems are described to treat, reuse or otherwise remediate dredged or raw material from bottom sediment or other sources through the mixture of raw material and another material such as a hardening agent into a homogenous material for contamination remediation, use as construction materials or other uses.

Apparatus and method for manufacturing high performance concrete capable of manufacturing high performance concrete through processes of inserting air into normal concrete and dissipating air

Disclosed is an apparatus and method for manufacturing high-performance concrete by introducing air into normal concrete and dissipating air, wherein high-performance concrete is formed in a manner in which bubbles, which are to be removed, are added in a large amount together with an admixture to pre-blended normal concrete so that the admixture is uniformly dispersed in the normal concrete using the ball-bearing effect of the bubbles, thus forming mixed concrete, and the mixed concrete is discharged using air at a high pressure of 5 atom or more to thereby shoot high-performance concrete of which the slump, remarkably increased due to the large amount of bubbles, is reduced to fall within the range of slump of normal concrete while dissipating excess air from the mixed concrete.

A method of curing concrete beginning with the acquisition of seedless hydro mulch material and incorporating the material into a material spraying device, mixing the material with water in the spraying device and spraying the material and water onto the surface of curing concrete. The spraying device includes a spray nozzle and pressurized air is introduced into the spray nozzle prior to the spraying of the material and water onto the curing concrete. The pressurized air may be provided to the spray nozzle at an air pressure of equal to or greater than 35 psi and less than or equal to 75 psi.

Microfluidic active mixing nozzle for three-dimensional printing of viscoelastic inks

The present disclosure relates to a device for three-dimensional ink deposition from an impeller-driven active mixing microfluidic printing nozzle. The device is configured to receive a material property associated with the plurality of fluids and receive a structure property of the printing nozzle. The device then determines a threshold relation between a rotating speed of an impeller in the nozzle and a volumetric flow rate Q of fluids that flow through the nozzle based on the material property of the plurality of fluids, the structure property of the printing nozzle. Based on the threshold relation, the device then determines an actual volumetric flow rate of the fluids and actual rotation speed of the impeller.

Slurry dispense system

A slurry dispense system utilizes a buffer chamber to release the pressure from the supply pump, and buffer the irregular flow rate of the supply pump. It also utilizes a positive displacement pump to control the dispense flow. With the help of the buffer chamber, the positive displacement pump is able to provide a constant flow rate, and can be accurately controlled. A high resolution and a high speed can be achieved at the same time.
