Three-point hitch with attachable implement-actuators
A conventional three point hitch of an agricultural tractor for the connection and use of working implements cultivating or excavating the earth and other duties involved in the industry of farming or grading excavation is modified by adding extending and retracting implement-actuators attachable to the existing bottom-lift-arms, therefore supplanting, but still using the existing bottom-lift-arms on the three-point hitch. The implement-actuators assist the implement in correcting the implements centerline when the tractor centerline is off a predetermined centerline path. In addition, the extending of the implement-actuators proportionally, inversely and simultaneously can correct the pivot point of the implement to match the pivot point of the tractor while the tractor performs turns during the working use of the implement.
Three-dimensional terrain mapping
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to generating and utilizing three-dimensional terrain maps for vehicular control. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
INTEGRATED ROW GUIDANCE SYSTEM
An agricultural implement mountable to a towing vehicle comprises a main mounting assembly, a toolbar slidably attached to the main mounting assembly, a plurality of row units mounted on the toolbar, a wand guidance system, and a control unit. The main mounting assembly is configured to be mountable to the towing vehicle. The wand guidance system is mounted on a selected one of the plurality of row units. The wand guidance system is configured to sense a position of the selected row unit relative to a first of a plurality of crop rows and generate a control signal based on the position of the selected row unit relative to the first crop row. The control unit is configured to adjust a lateral position of the toolbar relative to the main mounting assembly based on the control signal.
LATERALLY MOVEABLE HITCH ASSEMBLY FOR A TRACTOR
The adjustable hitch assembly of the present invention is mounted to the 3 point hitch system or quick attach frame on the rear of a tractor, and allows equipment, tools and implements to be hitched thereto. The hitch assembly includes a frame for mounting to the tractor, a carriage slidably mounted to the frame, and a hitch plate extending rearwardly from the carriage. The hitch assembly also includes an actuator for adjusting the lateral position of the hitch plate relative to the tractor. The actuator is coupled to the hydraulic system of the tractor. The actuator can be controlled remotely from the cab of the tractor.
AUTONOMOUS FARM VEHICLE
An autonomous farm vehicle is provided. In a preferred embodiment the vehicle is a plow, which is capable of driving itself without input from an operator. The plow is significantly lighter in weight and smaller in size then a combined tractor and plow, and can be operated continuously. The vehicle, includes a chassis mounted on a plurality of wheels and a tool in the form of a plowing assembly mounted to the chassis and displaceable about the chassis between a first and a second position, such that in the first position the plowing assembly is operational while the vehicle is driven in a first direction. In the second position the plowing assembly is operational while the vehicle is driven in a second direction substantially opposite to the first direction.
Agricultural tool-holder
Agricultural tool-holder having a central chassis with a coupling system for coupling with a tractor and at least one lateral chassis that can slide closer to or away from the central chassis, which has a longitudinal axis and includes an adjacent parallel pair of tubular beams orthogonal to the longitudinal axis and suitable for slidingly receiving two rods provided in the lateral chassis, moved by a main actuator mounted in the central chassis.
Boom working device and method for detecting loads acting on the boom
In order to know the loads acting on the boom, the load measuring unit, in particular only one, is either on or in the boom, in particular fixed, or between the arm end of the boom and the head end of the working head facing it.
PLANTER FLEXION IDENTIFICATION
An agricultural system including a work implement for fertilizing or planting seed in a field. The work implement includes a toolbar having a first terminating end and a second terminating end, wherein the toolbar includes a plurality of row units. A first sensor is operatively connected to the first end and a second sensor is operatively connected to the second end. The toolbar defines a longitudinal axis, wherein the first sensor identifies a first deflection of the first end with respect to the longitudinal axis and the second sensor identifies a second deflection of the second end with respect to the longitudinal axis. A user interface is operatively connected to the first sensor and to the second sensor, wherein the user interface identifies one or both of the first deflection and the second deflection.
GUIDANCE HITCH
A guidance hitch includes a forward hitch assembly, a rearward hitch assembly and a linkage arrangement pivotally connecting the rearward hitch assembly to the forward hitch assembly. The forward hitch assembly is adapted to mount to a tractor's three-point hitch. The rearward hitch assembly is adapted to support an implement. At least one hydraulic steering cylinder is capable of angularly positioning the rearward hitch assembly with respect to the forward hitch assembly. A side-shift hydraulic cylinder is capable laterally positioning the rearward hitch assembly with respect to the forward hitch assembly.
