CONCRETE MATERIAL DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for delivery ingredients to a cement mixing barrel has a container. The container is divided into a plurality of compartments, each compartment used to store one ingredient for making cement. A dispensing opening is formed in a bottom area of each of the plurality of compartments. A delivery trough is positioned below each dispensing opening transferring the ingredient from each of the plurality of compartments to the cement mixing barrel.
NONMETALLIC COLLECTOR
To provide a lighter weight and more robust component for use on a concrete mixer truck, a collector is formed of a non-metallic material which has more desirable characteristics. The collector is further strengthened by providing internal reinforcing structures and reinforced mounting structures so the collector can be effectively coupled to the concrete mixer truck. Additionally, the non-metallic material has desirable characteristics, such as low surface friction levels, high strength to weight ratios, and desirable puncture resistance. All of these characteristics combine to provide a lighter weight, more effective collector.
A CONCRETE BATCHING PLANT HAVING REDUCED CYCLE TIME AND REDUCED INSTALLATION AND DISMANTLING TIME
A method of operating a concrete batching plant includes loading aggregates into an aggregate storage bin divided into compartments from the ground level by wheel loader, discharging the material from storage bin through batching gates fitted into a weighing hopper, hydraulically lifting the aggregates after being weighed in the weighing hopper, conveying cement through a screw conveyor into a cement weigher and discharging the same into a mixer, mixing and compacting the aggregates for a pre-determined time, discharging the mixed and compacted concrete into a concrete carrying hopper, transporting the concrete carrying hopper to a desired height, and loading the concrete into mobile transit mixer or concrete pump, based on the site requirement.
Modular concrete production system and method
A modular concrete production system includes individual units for the production of concrete that may be individually transported to a construction site and set up for on-site concrete production. The system includes a portable concrete mixing unit, a portable power supply unit, and a portable water supply unit. The system also includes modular bins for cement and aggregate. The bins are pre-loaded with cement and aggregate off-site and then transported to the work site for use. The bins can be stacked onto hoppers to supply cement and aggregate to a concrete mixer on the concrete mixing unit and then replaced when the contents of the bins are depleted to operate the mixer continuously.
