Lateral tilt control for an agricultural harvester
11019769 · 2021-06-01 · ·

A lateral tilt control system for an agriculture harvester may include first and second tilt cylinders coupled between a support structure and an implement of the harvester. The first tilt cylinder may include a first cap-side chamber and a first rod-side chamber and the second tilt cylinder may include a second cap-side chamber and a second rod-side chamber. The system may also include a first fluid line providing a flow path between the first cap-side chamber and the second cap-side chamber and a second fluid line providing a flow path between the first rod-side chamber and the second cap-side chamber. Additionally, the system may include a pressure relief valve coupled between the first and second fluid lines to allow fluid to be transferred between the first and second fluid lines when a fluid pressure within either fluid line exceed a relief pressure setting.

HEADER SUSPENSION
20210112713 · 2021-04-22 ·

An agricultural vehicle header suspension having a frame, a plurality of supports extending forward from the frame, an anchor plate, a frame pivot joining the frame to the anchor plate to be rotatable about a frame pivot axis, a frame actuator connected between the anchor plate and the frame and configured to resiliently hold the frame at a predetermined position relative to the anchor plate, and to allow the frame to move through a range of motion relative to the anchor plate, upon compression and/or extension of the frame actuator. The frame actuator may be, for example, at least one single-acting hydraulic actuator, mechanical spring, or a pneumatic cylinder.

TORSION BALANCED HARVESTER HEAD

An agricultural vehicle header includes a frame supporting components of the agricultural vehicle header. A reel is mounted to the frame such that a weight of the reel produces a bending moment on the frame in a first direction that can cause the header to droop toward a ground surface. A gauge wheel is mounted to the frame such that a normal force, which is produced by the gauge wheel on the ground surface, is transmitted to the frame to cause a bending moment on the frame in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction in order to either limit or prevent drooping of the header toward the ground surface.

ROAD TRAVEL SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE
20210127575 · 2021-05-06 ·

An agricultural vehicle having a chassis, wheels, a power unit, and a header. The header has a center section, at least one wing section extending laterally from the center section, and a wing section support. The center section is movable relative to the chassis, the wing section is movable relative to the center section, and the wing support is movable relative to the wing section. The combine has a control system that is configured to determine that the combine is configured to drive at a road-driving speed, and in response to such determination: operate a center section actuator to move the center section to a raised center section position, operate a wing section actuator to move the wing section to a raised wing section position, and operate a wing support actuator to move the wing support to a raised wing support position.
