A control system for managing weight transfer along sections of a tractor drawn tool bar for use in row planting systems is provided. The planter weight transfer system comprises first and second assemblies secured to each other and to a row planter tool bar by a set of fasteners. Additionally, the bolt-on brackets are joined at the top by an actuator which applies a force on the brackets. An improved PID-based WTS control system provides improved and balanced operation of agricultural machinery planting multiple rows with a multiple row planter units attached along a set of tool bars, wherein the wing sections and the center section of the tool bar complex are maintained in relative position by operation of the WTS and control system.

An agricultural machine includes a traveling vehicle body, a position detector to detect a position of the traveling vehicle body, a lifting device to link a working device to the traveling vehicle body, and an automatic operation controller to perform an automatic operation to cause the traveling vehicle body to travel and cause the working device to perform an agricultural job based on a travel route and the position of the traveling vehicle body. The lifting device is operable to, during the automatic operation, place the working device in a work position in which the working device performs the agricultural job, and the automatic operation controller is operable to cause the lifting device to keep the working device in the work position even after stopping the traveling vehicle body and/or the working device to end the automatic operation at a location short of an unworked area of the agricultural field.

Inching system for a construction vehicle

An inching system for a vehicle having a hydrostatic transmission and an engine that drives the transmission. The transmission has a pilot pressure port with a pressure of hydraulic fluid at the pilot pressure port controlling a level of power from the transmission, a beginning of draining of the hydraulic fluid from the pilot pressure port defining an inching starting point. The system includes a brake pedal and an electrohydraulic valve coupled to the pilot pressure port of the transmission, the valve being configured to drain the hydraulic fluid at the pilot pressure port. A sensor is coupled to the pedal to detect an input from the operator, the sensor producing a signal indicative of the input from the operator. A controller receives the signal and a speed of the engine. The controller controls the electrohydraulic valve dependent upon the signal and the engine speed so that the inching starting point is unchanged regardless of the speed of the engine.

Crop Machine with an Electronically Controlled Hydraulic Cylinder Flotation System

In a crop harvesting machine there is provided a pair of hydraulic float cylinders for a header relative to a vehicle, where a float pressure to the cylinders is directly controlled by an electronic control supplying a variable control signal to a PPRR valve arrangement to maintain the float pressure at a predetermined value. At the set pressure a predetermined lifting force is provided to the header. A position sensor is used to generate an indication of movement and/or acceleration. The electronic control is arranged, in response to changes in the sensor signal, to temporarily change the control signal to vary the lifting force and thus change the dynamic response of the hydraulic float cylinder. In order to reduce static friction so that the system can react quickly, an arrangement is provided for causing relative reciprocating movement in an alternating wave pattern between the piston and cylinder.
