System for the controlled distribution of food for feeding animals
A system for the controlled distribution of food for feeding animals, which includes a plurality of concentric circular sections with feeders for animals, a self-propelled central pivot machine arranged in a center of concentric circular sections, the self-propelled machine having a pivot base and a main head; a first pivoting span connected to the pivot base and at the proximal end of which the main head is arranged, while at the distal end a food discharge head is arranged; a main pipe that moves food to the main head and from the latter to the food discharge head and to the respective feeders arranged in the circular concentric sections.
Agricultural knife with primary and secondary serrations
A knife with a serrated cutting edge may include a plate having a leading edge forming a plurality of teeth seats arranged in a stepped configuration, with each of the plurality of teeth seats. The knife may also include a plurality of elongate cutting elements each affixed to one of the teeth seats formed by the leading edge. The cutting elements may form a portion of the serrated cutting edge, and each may have a top surface and a bottom surface. The cutting edge may be on the top surface and the bottom surface may be affixed to one of the teeth seats. The serrated cutting edge has a plurality of primary serrations and a plurality of secondary serrations, with each of the cutting elements forming at least one of the primary serrations and at least one of the secondary serrations.
Diagnostic monitoring and recording of hydraulic system components on agricultural mixers
An Animal Feed Mixer (Dairy or Beef) Scale indicator system records Feed Mixer Operating Speed along with the operating temperatures and hydraulic & lube oil pressures of the mixer gearboxes and hydraulic drive system and notifies the operator and records the temperature or pressures, along with the weight, date, and time, when limits have been exceeded.
FODDER MIXING WAGON
Fodder mixing wagon with a mixing container and at least one mixing member arranged rotatable therein for fodder components and a sensor system arranged to co-rotate on the mixing member for examining at least one of the fodder components and/or a fodder mixture formed therefrom. A data transmission system with a transmitter a receiver which are associated with one another in a co-rotating and not co-rotating arrangement for wireless data transmission to and/or from the sensor system; and/or an electrical generator for supplying power to the sensor system. The transmitter and receiver are arranged such that the wireless data transmission is within the mixing container; and the generator is arranged on the stator side to co-rotate with the mixing member and on the rotor side is coupled not to co-rotate. Data transmission is provided with a low transmission power. Inductive data and power transmission may be used.
Apparatus for preparing feed for animals
An apparatus for preparing feed for animals, includes a first container for storing at least one liquid; a second container for storing at least one dehydrated feed; a mixing chamber; a first dosing system configured to dose and transfer a first predetermined amount of the at least one liquid to the mixing chamber; a second dosing system configured to dose and transfer a second predetermined amount of the at least one dehydrated feed to the mixing chamber; a mixer, arranged at least temporarily in the mixing chamber, for stirring and mixing the at least one liquid with the at least one dehydrated feed during a mixing phase, so as to form a feed ration in paste form; and a dispenser, arranged to dispense the feed ration in paste form from the mixing chamber into a container, for dispensing during a dispensing phase.
Agricultural feed mixer with torque sensing automatic transmission
A feed mixer apparatus that includes a mixing chamber for receiving feed, and having a mixing element situated therein for mixing the feed, a transmission having a plurality of gears and connected with a mixing element, a drive system having a plurality of drive system components, including the transmission, a torque sensor interconnected with at least one drive system component, a control unit having a display and a plurality of user inputs, wherein the control unit is in at least indirect communication with the transmission and the torque sensor, and wherein the control unit receives a plurality of outputs from one or more of the transmission and torque sensor, and based at least in part on the plurality of outputs, provides an output command to effectuate a gear change in the transmission.
Elevating animal feed mixing system
An elevating feed mixing system and method are provided. The system includes a support frame and a raisable platform raisable relative to the support frame. A mixing tub disposed on the raisable platform is configured to receive constituent ingredients of a feed and further configured to raise to release the feed after it is mixed.
FEEDING DEVICE
A device for remote feeding of animals, particularly marine animals, such as sharks. The device which can be used over and over again, and makes it possible to control the rate at which food is supplied to the sharks, so that the feeder, who is located in a boat and not in the water, can vary the food delivery depending on the number of sharks. The device allows sharks to feed in a natural way, and, importantly, not associate food with humans. The food can be dispensed at an optimal rate so that there is no waste, reducing the amount of food necessary to attract and retain sharks.
RECORDING MIXER ROTATION RATE ALONG WITH WEIGHT OF FEED AND DATE AND TIME
A method includes the step of receiving a first weight value from a sensor associated with a feed mixer. A first rotation speed associated with the first weight value is monitored. A second weight value is received from the sensor associated with the feed mixer and a second rotation speed associated with the second weight value is monitored. A mixing profile is generated based on the first weight value, the second weight value, the first rotation speed, and the second rotation speed. In one embodiment, a first feed ingredient is associated with the first weight value and a second feed ingredient is associated with the second weight value.
