Integral rescue accessory for forcible entry and core drill
10245758 · 2019-04-02 ·

An integral rescue accessory for forcible entry and core drill may include hydraulic wall saws, a rotating platform, and a coring claw. Two hydraulic wall saws are symmetry installed on rotating platform. The wall saws cut linearly with the rotation of rotating platform to open a rectangular tunnel on a reinforced concrete wall or floor. After the cutting process, coring process is finished by the wall saws and claw inclinedly mounted to ensure the security of rescue. The whole accessory is installed on a large engineering machine through a hydraulic joint. The present disclosure can transfer general large mechanical equipment into dedicated large mechanical equipment quickly.

Method and apparatus for cutting linear trenches in concrete
10246837 · 2019-04-02 · ·

A portable apparatus and method for cutting linear trenches in a concrete ground surface includes two bars extending in parallel spaced relation along the concrete with an elongated track removably fastened and extending orthogonally thereto. A trolley supporting a motor-driven cutting wheel is movably engaged with the track. A depth adjuster alternately lowers and raises the cutting wheel to engage and disengage the concrete while the trolley follows contours of the concrete to cut a kerf of uniform depth. The track is selectively movable to spaced locations along the lengths of the two bars to cut a first plurality of parallel kerfs in a first direction. The apparatus is rotatable about a vertical axis to cut a second plurality of parallel kerfs oriented in a second direction at a predetermined angle, e.g., 90 degrees, to the first direction, to form a simulated tile pattern in the concrete.

Method and apparatus for cutting non-linear trenches in concrete
10240306 · 2019-03-26 · ·

A walk-behind apparatus and method for cutting non-linear trenches in concrete includes a frame supported by fixed direction wheels at a front end on a fixed axis of rotation, and multi-directional wheels at a rear end to rotate on movable axes of rotation, to permit the frame to rotate about a vertical axis passing through the frame. A handle is engageable by a user walking behind the frame for pushing the apparatus forward and/or for steering. A cutting wheel has a diameter of 5-20 inches and a cutting portion having a width of 0.5-1.5 inches. The cutting rotates on an axis parallel to the fixed axis and which extends notionally through the fixed direction wheels. The cutting wheel is disposed within a protective shroud viewable by the user to permit the user to visually align and guide the cutting wheel along a non-linear path on the ground while steering.

SAWCUT MACHINE FOR SIDEWALKS
20240239016 · 2024-07-18 ·

Disclosed is a machine for forming saw cuts into sidewalk concrete slabs, the machine comprising a frame, rubber tracks attached to the underside of the frame to self-propel the machine in a travel direction along a sidewalk during use, and a cutting assembly mounted to the frame. The cutting assembly comprises a saw for forming saw cuts, a linear actuator for moving the saw at a depth into the sidewalk, and a screw drive motor to move the saw to form the saw cut in a direction perpendicular to the travel direction. While road repair machinery has the luxury of more space, machines for sidewalks are smaller and tighter. The machine in accordance with the teachings of this invention uses a newly designed cutting assembly to keep the size of the machine useable for sawcuts in sidewalks.

CONCRETE SAW WITH CUTTING ENCLOSURE AND DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM
20240227241 · 2024-07-11 ·

Various concrete cutting devices using a cutting enclosure and dust collection system are described. The system generally includes a housing, a door releasably secured to the housing, a cutting blade within an interior of the housing, at least one baffle within the housing interior, a vacuum port, and a blade sight window in the door. Also described are vertically positionable and optionally biased skid plates associated with the housing and blade.

LAYING MACHINE AND A BLADE ASSEMBLY

The present invention relates to a laying machine for laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire including: a blade arrangement for making a trench in the ground, a consolidation and laying means being arranged behind the blade arrangement, for clearing and safe-guarding the trench from collapsing while laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire into the trench. A blade assembly comprising compartments for cooling fluid and air.

COMBINATION PAVEMENT CUTTING AND DEBRIS REMOVAL DEVICE
20190063011 · 2019-02-28 ·

The present invention is an all-in-one pavement cutting and debris removal system, which comprises a cutting assembly including a saw blade and motor for supporting and rotating the saw blade, a water supply assembly that sends water to the saw blade including a water tank and water tube to keep the saw blade cool during cutting, and an assembly for removing the cutting debris/slurry created during the cutting. The assembly may utilize a high-pressure air flow or water to blow away the cement/water debris or a high vacuum suction device to vacuum away the cement/water debris. The present system employs a single truck to carry or tow the cutting assembly, water tank and air compressor for the same function that currently requires two trucks.
