Apparatus for forming scores in a plurality of curb sections or a masonry structure
An apparatus for forming horizontal and linear score at a predefined depth or adjustable depth in a plurality of curb sections or a similar concrete or masonry structure. The apparatus comprises a frame, two-axis of linear bearings guides, angle grinder, cutting blades, and protective shield. The frame is secured in the curb section or structure through stakes to penetrate a ground or slip into holes of a horizontal surface. The frame includes a plurality of first adjustment units to allow adjustments for heights according to the height of curb section, and second adjustment units to allow adjustments for depths according to the depth of the curb section. A horizontal linear bearing guide rides up and down on a vertical linear bearing guide and restricted by a height adjustment mechanism. The angle grinder hanged on a mount attached to the linear bearing. The protective shield covers the plurality of cutting blades and further attached to a water supply to provide a spray on the plurality of cutting blades.
Vibration Reducing Handle for Early Entry Concrete Saws
A vibration suppressing handle arm (600) for an early entry concrete saw, the handle comprising a joint separating the handle into a first elongated part (120) and a second elongated part (140), wherein the first and second elongated parts are arranged pivotable with respect to each other about the joint, wherein the first part (120) has an elongation direction configured to align with an elongation direction of the second part (140) to form an elongation direction of the handle when the handle is in an unfolded position, the handle further comprising a resilient element arranged to resist but not prevent pivoting by the first elongated part (120) and the second elongated part (140) about the joint.
Dust Collecting Concrete Saw
A concrete saw for cutting a relief slot in a concrete slab surface, the concrete saw incorporating front and rear hand truck components having lower bases and upwardly extending handles, each handle being fixedly attached to one of the hand truck bases; front and rear pluralities of wheels respectively fixedly attached to and extending downwardly from the front and rear hand trucks' bases; a motor and cutting wheel combination supported upon the front hand truck's base; a motor powered vacuum supported upon the rear hand truck; a vacuum housing enshrouding an upper end of the cutting wheel; a vacuum tube operatively interconnecting the motor powered vacuum and the vacuum housing; and a releasable latch interconnecting the front and rear hand trucks so that forward propulsion of the front hand truck forwardly pulls the rearward hand truck.
FLOOR SAWING EQUIPMENT WITH CONTROLLABLE SUPPORTING WHEELS
A floor saw (100) for sawing in a concrete surface segment (160), the floor saw comprising a circular cutting blade (110), at least two drive wheels (120) arranged to support the floor saw on the concrete surface segment (160), a sensor arrangement (140) configured to determine a current yaw motion of the floor saw, and a control unit (130) configured to receive a desired yaw motion setting, wherein the at least two drive wheels (120) are arranged to be driven at respective first and second wheel speeds, and wherein the control unit (130) is arranged to control a difference between the first and second wheel speeds to reduce a difference between the current yaw motion of the floor saw and the desired yaw motion setting.
SAWCUT MACHINE FOR SIDEWALKS
Disclosed is a machine for forming saw cuts into sidewalk concrete slabs, the machine comprising a frame, rubber tracks attached to the underside of the frame to self-propel the machine in a travel direction along a sidewalk during use, and a cutting assembly mounted to the frame. The cutting assembly comprises a saw for forming saw cuts, a linear actuator for moving the saw at a depth into the sidewalk, and a screw drive motor to move the saw to form the saw cut in a direction perpendicular to the travel direction. While road repair machinery has the luxury of more space, machines for sidewalks are smaller and tighter. The machine in accordance with the teachings of this invention uses a newly designed cutting assembly to keep the size of the machine useable for sawcuts in sidewalks.
Electric concrete saw
A self-propelled electric concrete saw having at least two electric motors. A first electric motor of the concrete saw is powered by an external power supply and can power both a saw blade and a drive system. A second electric motor of the concrete saw is powered by a rechargeable battery and can power the drive system. The concrete saw can be maneuvered by using the second electric motor with or without the concrete saw being connected to the external power supply.
CONCRETE CUTTING MACHINE AND SLIDING PLATE ASSEMBLY FOR A CONCRETE CUTTING MACHINE
A concrete cutting machine, for wet and dry dual-use cutting, includes a saw blade, which is configured to cut concrete, a motor, which is configured to drive the saw blade to rotate about a first axis, and a bottom plate, which is configured to support the motor and the saw blade. The bottom plate is formed with a first cutting space for the saw blade to pass through. The concrete cutting machine further includes a sliding plate assembly, which is at least partially disposed in the first cutting space, to form a second cutting space smaller than the first cutting space.
WALL SAW HAVING A LOCKING DEVICE
Wall saw having a locking device (41). A saw blade flange (25) of the wall saw is adjustable by the locking device (41) between a locked state and an unlocked state, wherein, in the locked state, the saw blade flange (25) is connected to the drive spindle (33) for rotation therewith, and, in the unlocked state, is adjustable in relation to the drive spindle (33). In the unlocked state of the saw blade flange, the drive spindle is blocked in the direction of rotation of the saw blade and is designed to be rotatable about the axis of rotation in a counter direction directed counter to the direction of rotation.
Wet cutting saw
A wet cutting saw for cutting a ground portion, the wet cutting saw including a blade rotatable about an axis, a liquid feed conduit for feeding liquid onto a surface of the blade as it rotates, a frame for carrying the blade and configured to travel over a surface of the ground portion, and a mounting assembly that mounts the blade to the frame, at least part of the mounting assembly pivotable relative to the frame to raise and lower the blade relative to the frame.
Power Tool for Forming a Channel in a Work Surface and Accessories Therefor
A power tool for forming a channel in a work surface includes a first section carrying a rotatable shaft having a shaft axis and a second section that engages the work surface; a cutting disc having a substantially circular blade provided on the rotatable shaft; a first support portion on one side of the cutting disc and a second support portion on the opposite side of the cutting disc which cooperate to hold the cutting disc at an oblique angle relative to the shaft axis. A first locking feature of the first support portion and a second locking feature of the second support portion extend through a circular opening of the cutting disc and cooperate to resist relative rotation of the first and second support portions. The first section is movable relative to the second section to move the cutting disc into and out of engagement with the work surface.
