TILE SAW

A saw assembly including a base, a frame assembly disposed on the base and a rail system disposed on the frame assembly. The rail system extends in a longitudinal direction and a table assembly is slidingly disposed in the longitudinal direction on the rail system. The assembly includes a split table having a first table portion and a second table portion separated by a gap extending parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rail system. A pair of fences are mounted to the first and second table portions and bridge the gap to connect the first and second table portions to each other. The gap and corresponding channels and drain apertures allow the tile saw to channel and retain water while cutting a tile. At least one of the fences has a projection in the form of a bridge that is pivotable about the fence to move the projection away from the path of the blade.

MULTI-LAYER ROLLER STABILIZING STRUCTURE OF STONE CUTTING MACHINE

A multi-layer roller stabilizing structure of a stone cutting machine, comprising: a base, a water storage basin, a slider assembly, a workbench and a bench rack. The water storage basin is disposed on the base. The slider assembly includes a roller rack and plural upper sliders and lower sliders. Two sides of the roller rack are provided with an upper roller, a middle and a lower rollers respectively. The upper and the lower sliders are respectively disposed between the upper, the middle and the lower rollers. The bench rack is disposed on the upper sliders, the lower sliders are disposed on the base. The workbench and the bench rack are linked to move with the upper sliders. The upper and the lower sliders thereby enabling offseting from top-to-bottom. The roller rack is displaced by linkage, and continuously stabilizes the workbench and extends a distance of displacement for the workbench.

The present invention provides a cutting machine that cuts a structure by pressing a disk-shaped blade against the structure while rotating the blade, comprising: a machine body having wheels and rotatably supporting the blades; a tank that stores water to be supplied to the blade for cooling the blade; and a motor for rotationally driving the blade, wherein the tank and the motor are arranged such that the tank and the motor at least partially overlap each other in a top view of the cutting machine.

Tile saw with adjustable fence and methods

A tile saw includes a saw with a cutting blade, a frame supporting the saw, a table supporting a workpiece and being slidable relative to the frame, and a rear fence secured to the table. The rear fence has an engagement surface and is adjustable between an operating position and a bypassed position. The bypassed position includes the engagement surface of the fence being no higher than even with the planar surface of the table to allow a workpiece to extend beyond a rear edge of the table. In the operating position, the engagement surface of the rear fence projects axially from the planar surface of the table to support the workpiece as the workpiece is pushed into the cutting blade during operation. The fence can be adjusted between the operating and bypassed positions by using any one of a cam lever clamp, pin and guideway, or rotatable latch.

An apparatus for containing and collecting debris, dust, and/or fluid generated by a table saw is disclosed. The apparatus may include a pan and a frame for supporting the table saw during use. A plurality of trays may be attached to the pan. The trays may be extended from the pan to provide additional surface area for collecting debris, dust, and/or fluid generated by the saw. A hood apparatus may be coupled to the frame. The hood apparatus may include a fixed shield and an extendable shield for covering above the saw and containing debris, dust, and/or fluid from escaping the apparatus above the saw. A plurality of hanging curtains may be coupled to the fixed and extendable shields to prevent debris, dust, and/or fluid from escaping behind or to the side of the saw. Gravity drainage in the trays and pan may remove debris and dust from the fluid.

A tile or masonry saw assembly may include a saw, a frame, and a workpiece support. The saw includes a motor operable to turn a blade assembly to cut a workpiece. The frame is operably coupled to the saw to enable the saw to be moved along the frame in a first direction. The workpiece support is operably coupled to the frame to support the workpiece relative to the saw, and to allow the workpiece support to be moved along the frame. The saw assembly further includes a movement assembly via which both movement of the workpiece support and movement of the saw relative to the frame is accomplished, such that a movement of the work piece support along the frame in a second direction is enabled to cause the saw to move along the frame in the first direction which is opposite the second direction.
