Autonomous or remote-controlled vehicle platform for spraying
A vehicle platform comprises a central body that can support one or more implement configurations, such as sprayer booms, or planting row units. A plurality of adjustable legs extends downward from the central body. An arm assembly has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first end is pivotably coupled the central body and the second end coupled to a support beam. A plurality of nozzle assemblies is supported from the support beam. An arm actuator is arranged to control a transverse position of the support beam and the nozzle assemblies with respect to a reference point on the central body, such that each nozzle assembly may be aligned with a row of seeds or plants.
AUTOMATIC TARGET RECOGNITION AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An apparatus for controlling weeds, which includes a tine formation adapted to remove or disrupt targeted weeds, and a tine support assembly adapted to support the tine for movement about a first control axis in a generally vertical direction between an engaged position wherein the tine formation in use contacts a ground surface for removal or disruption of targeted weeds and a disengaged position wherein the tine formation is substantially retracted from the ground surface. The tine support assembly is further adapted to support the tine for movement about a second control axis in a generally horizontal direction. The tine support assembly further includes a first actuation mechanism adapted to effect movement of the tine about the first control axis, and a second actuation mechanism adapted to effect movement of the tine about the second control axis. The apparatus also includes a sensing system for sensing aspects of an environment and generating data indicative thereof, and a classification system for identifying target weeds within the environment on the basis of the data from the sensing system. A control system is adapted to activate the first and second actuation mechanisms of the tine support assembly in accordance with a predetermined control logic thereby sequentially to position the tine for disruptive contact with the targeted weeds.

Cutting head for vineyard and orchard tiller/cultivator
A tractor mounted tiller/cultivator system that includes right and left swing arms pivotally attached to tractor chassis, right and left cutting head assemblies mounted on the swing arms, each including a right disc motor driving a rotary disc mounted on a distal portion of the swing arm and operatively coupled to the motor. Ground-engaging cultivation wheels surround the rotary disc, and an annular guard prevents unwanted contact of the wheels with vines or trunks of vines and trees. A drive mechanism lowers and raises the swing arms to put the cultivation wheels into engagement and disengagement with ground and to rotate said swing arms about their longitudinal axes. User controls operatively connected to the swing arms, cutting head assemblies, and drive mechanisms enable a user to finely tune the movement of the cutting heads into and out from rows of trees or vines.

Agricultural machine with system for calculating a terrain relief and method for operating an agricultural machine
An agricultural machine, in particular self-propelled and/or towed agricultural machine and methods for proactively controlling an agricultural machine to maintain a positioning of a boom coupled to the machine over uneven terrain are described. The agricultural machine includes a chassis that bears components of the agricultural machine, a data processing apparatus, a sensor unit for detecting an inclination angle of the chassis relative to a reference plane, and a detection apparatus for detecting a travel speed and/or a travelled route, per time unit. Proactive control of the machine is achieved using the data processing apparatus which is configured to calculate a travelled route, in particular per time unit, using a travel speed and/or to calculate a terrain relief using a travelled route, per time unit, and using an inclination angle of the chassis which changes or remains constant along the route.
