An outer blade cutting wheel is provided comprising an annular thin disc base and a blade section of bonded abrasive grains on the periphery of the base. Provided that an imaginary range is delineated by two imaginary planes extending parallel to the planar surfaces of the base and tangent to widthwise side portions of the blade section and two imaginary circumferences defined about the rotational axis and extending tangent to inner and outer perimeters of the blade section, the blade section occupies 10-40% by volume of the imaginary range minus the region of the base, and the widthwise side portions of the blade section have a dented shape relative to the imaginary planes. The cutting wheel is capable of cutoff machining at a high feed speed while maintaining a high accuracy and a low cutting load.

A power tool for forming a channel in a work surface includes a first section carrying a rotatable shaft having a shaft axis and a second section that engages the work surface; a cutting disc having a substantially circular blade provided on the rotatable shaft; a first support portion on one side of the cutting disc and a second support portion on the opposite side of the cutting disc which cooperate to hold the cutting disc at an oblique angle relative to the shaft axis. A first locking feature of the first support portion and a second locking feature of the second support portion extend through a circular opening of the cutting disc and cooperate to resist relative rotation of the first and second support portions. The first section is movable relative to the second section to move the cutting disc into and out of engagement with the work surface.

CUTTING TOOL AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE CUTTING TOOL
The invention relates to a method for producing and a cutting tool, respectively, for cutting hard materials such a natural stone or concrete or the like. A ductile support body (2) is the base body of the cutting tool, and a plurality of cutting modules (1) are arranged on the cutting edge of the cutting tool. The cutting member(10) is mounted on an intermediate support member (11), preferably by a laser weld (15), to form said cutting module (1). The modules (1) are attached to the support body (2) by means of a weld (14) in accurate manner, preferably by assistance of abutting support surfaces (120, 121, 123; 20, 21, 23) that hinder movement in at least 2 orthogonal directions, before welding each module (1) onto the support body (2). The invention enables production of pre-fabricated cutting modules (1) at central production sites, e.g. having expensive laser welding equipment, and shipment of these small pre-made modules (1) to distant locations where simple standard welding techniques may be used to produce a cutting tool.

A staggered-teeth diamond saw blade includes a circular steel base and a side wall provided at an outer edge of the steel base. Multiple first diamond cutter heads and multiple second diamond cutter heads are alternately arranged at the side wall through laser brazing; multiple diamond teeth protection cutter heads are uniformly distributed on an external surface of the steel base through high frequency induction brazing; a pre-plating layer is preformed at a welding surface where the side wall is welded with the first diamond cutter heads and the second diamond cutter heads; a pre-plating layer is preformed at a welding surface where the external surface of the steel base is welded with the diamond teeth protection cutter heads. The diamond cutter heads of the present invention are staggered to thicken the thickness thereof while cutting concrete pavement and other materials at high speed.

A tool for machining materials has a main part and one or more blades. The main part is made of a low-alloy steel. The socket is welded to the main part, and the blade edges are made of a hard metal. The hard metal contains at least 82 vol. % of tungsten carbide and a metallic binder made of a cobalt-nickel-based alloy. The hardness of the hard metal is greater than 1350 HV10. The socket has a sintered composite, and 40 vol. % to 60 vol. % of the composite is composed of a metal carbide and a metallic binder. At least 95 vol. % of the metallic binder is made of nickel, and the hardness of the composite is less than 800 HV10.

CONCRETE CUTTING SAW BLADE
The present application provides a concrete cutting saw blade, which relates to the technical field of diamond tools. The concrete cutting saw blade comprises a base body and a cutter head, wherein the base body and the cutter head are connected by welding, the cutter head comprises a body part, a wear-resistant layer and a filler, the body part is made of the same material as the base body, the wear-resistant layer is provided on one side of the body part on the blade surface of the cutter head, the body part is provided with a narrow slit at the edge of the blade, and the filler is provided in the narrow slit. The technical scheme solves the technical problems in the prior art that the concrete cutting saw blade is complicated to manufacture, high in cost and unstable in quality.
