In the manufacturing method of the invention the mixer is reconnected to the manufacturing apparatus arrangement after downtime without cleaning it from the silicone composition subcomponents remaining in the mixer.
Automatic devulcanizing and plasticizing device and method for using same
Rubber to be recycled is first ground to rubber crumb and then is transferred to a plasticizing unit. The rubber to be recycled is mixed with chemicals including an aromatic, environmental-friendly, low volatility reaction oil, a thickening agent and an activator. This mixture is heated to a desired temperature under anaerobic conditions and then is maintained at that temperature for a suitable time. The processed material is then transferred to a cooling unit in which it is cooled to a temperature below 60 C. prior to being released from the machine.

An internal mixing extruder includes an internal mixing mechanism including a mixing chamber, where the mixing chamber includes a rear end provided with a first feed port, and a front end provided with a first discharge port, and a rotor is provided in the mixing chamber along a front-rear direction; an extrusion mechanism located below the internal mixing mechanism, where the extrusion mechanism includes an extruding chamber, the extruding chamber includes a rear end provided with a second feed port, and a front end provided with a mold, and a screw is provided in the extruding chamber along the front-rear direction; and a hopper, where the hopper is connected between the first discharge port and the second feed port. Materials are plasticized fully in the internal mixing mechanism. The fully plasticized materials enter the hopper. The hopper conveys to-be-extruded materials to the extrusion mechanism in a forced feeding manner.

A mixer includes: a casing having an introduction port at an upper portion and having a rotor provided with a blade portion for mixing a material to be mixed, inside thereof; a floating weight which blocks the introduction port; and a floating weight moving mechanism which has a horizontal movement unit capable of horizontally moving the floating weight in a supported state between a delivery position just above the introduction port and a retracted position being lateral to the introduction port, on the upper side of the introduction port, and can move the floating weight separately from the horizontal movement unit from the delivery position to a blocking position at which the floating weight blocks the introduction port.

The mixer also includes at least one injector that at least partially extends through the bore of the at least one side wall. The polymer processing system also includes a ram that is movably connected to the mixer. The polymer processing system also includes a compressed air supply that is fluidly connected to the at least one injector to supply compressed air to the chamber through the at least one injector.
