METHOD AND DEVICE OF MANUFACTURING FIBER-REINFORCED RESIN MATERIAL
A method of manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin material, includes preparing a kneaded material by melting a thermoplastic resin and kneading the molten thermoplastic resin with reinforcing fibers; preparing a reinforcing fiber-impregnated material including a supercritical fluid by accommodating the kneaded material in a sealed space and supplying the supercritical fluid into the sealed space such that the molten thermoplastic resin is impregnated into the reinforcing fibers included in the kneaded material; and manufacturing the fiber-reinforced resin material by extracting the reinforcing fiber-impregnated material from the sealed space and leaving the reinforcing fiber-impregnated material to stand in a reduced-pressure atmosphere such that the supercritical fluid foams.

A system for producing homogenized oil field gel including a power unit, a control system, a feed tank, a hopper, and a piping assembly that includes inlet and outlet manifolds, centrifugal pumps, and metering devices for filling the feed tank and handling a discharge of oilfield gel. The system further includes a powder hydration component and liquid chemical equipment. The method for producing homogenized oil field gel includes a guar powder procedure including a controlled sequence for starting and stopping a venturi mixer in a hydration unit. The method for producing homogenized oil field gel further includes a liquefied gel concentrate procedure including a metering and chemical injection procedure for mixing a liquefied gel concentrate.

PROCESS FOR PREPARING A POLYOLEFIN COMPOSITION
A process for continuously preparing a polyolefin composition made from or containing a bimodal or multimodal polyolefin and one or more additives in an extruder device equipped with at least one hopper. The process includes the steps of supplying a bimodal or multimodal polyolefin in form of a polyolefin powder to the hopper; (a) measuring the flow rate of the polyolefin powder or (b) measuring the flow rate of the prepared polyolefin pellets; supplying one or more additives to the hopper; adjusting the flow rates of the additives supplied to the hopper in response to the measured flow rate of the polyolefin powder or adjusting the flow rate of the polyolefin powder in response to the measured flow rate of the polyolefin pellets; melting and homogenizing the polyolefin powder and additives within the extruder device; and pelletizing the molten polyolefin composition into the polyolefin pellets.
Thermoplastic composition with low hydrocarbon uptake
Thermoplastic compositions are described that exhibit resistance to hydrocarbon absorption. Methods for forming the thermoplastic compositions are also described. Formation methods include combining a polyarylene sulfide with a first impact modifier and a second impact modifier such that the impact modifiers are dispersed throughout the polyarylene sulfide. A crosslinking agent can be combined with the other components of the composition following dispersal of the additives throughout the composition to dynamically crosslink at least one of the first and second impact modifiers.
Thermally vulcanisable adhesive and adhesive strip produced therefrom
Thermally vulcanisable, meltable adhesives and processes have a meltable polybutadiene-polyurethane, ground sulphur and optionally at least one vulcanisation accelerator, at least one filling material, at least one epoxide resin, at least one tackifier resin, bitumen, at least one softener and further auxiliary and additive materials, wherein said adhesives and processes can be thermally vulcanised within a temperature range of 130° C. to 230° C., such that same, as well as an adhesive strip produced from same, can be used for adhesion and/or sealing in the automotive industry, as well as in structural work on oiled sheet metal, and in the painting line on e-coated or otherwise painted sheet metal, for example, for crimp fold adhesion, for crimp fold sealing, for seam sealing, for lining adhesion, for hole closure and much more.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE FAST AND EFFICIENT HEATING OF PLASTIC GRANULATES FOR PREPARING FOR THE PROCESSING IN A PLASTICIZATION
A method and an apparatus for rapid and efficient heating of polymer pellets in preparation for processing in a plastifier. For introduction of heat energy, a gas, preferably dried air, is introduced into the polymer pellets flow so as not to be in direct countercurrent thereto. The gas is preferably introduced in its still hottest state in a targeted fashion, for the purpose of rapid energy input, at a freely selectable location. This preferably takes place at the material output of the booster hopper. The gas is preferably conducted by way of cascades, which can be of a variable design, and flows through the bulk material at least twice. The speed of the flow can be influenced.
Mixing and Drying Conveyor
A conveyor having a conveyance structure, mixing components, belt, and gas manifold. The gas manifold disposed within or on an exterior portion of the structure. The gas manifold having one or more manifold outlet ports to dry, condition, or treat a metered stream of seed within the conveyor. The manifold may be operably connected to a recirculating air system providing the vacuum source and pressurized air source of atmospheric or conditioned air. A filter and vacuum port may extract debris or humidity from the metered stream of seed within the conveyor. A plurality of mixing baffles may be longitudinally spaced apart through the conveyor in a laterally alternating manner to mix the metered stream of seed. The conveyor may be used to transfer, mix, dry, condition and treat the metered stream of seed between multiple stages of treatment.

FEEDING SCREW MACHINE FOR FEEDING A PROCESSING SCREW MACHINE
A feeding screw machine serves for feeding a processing screw machine. The feeding screw machine comprises a housing with at least one housing bore formed therein. An associated screw conveyor shaft is rotatably disposed in the at least one housing bore to convey material in a conveying direction from a supply opening to a feeding opening. An emptying opening is formed in the housing. The emptying opening enables an easy, fast and reliable emptying and cleaning of the feeding screw machine independently of the processing screw machine.
