A GRANULAR INFILL MATERIAL AND A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE GRANULAR INFILL MATERIAL
A disclosed process for producing granular infill material for a synthetic turf surface includes providing scraps of a composite material comprising a textile support. A coating of the textile support includes a polymeric material. A weight percentage of the textile support is greater than or equal to 5% of a total weight of the composite material. The production process includes grinding the scraps to obtain scrap pieces, preparing a mixture comprising the scrap pieces, and heating the mixture to obtain a blend comprising the polymeric material in a softened state and pieces of the textile support dispersed in the polymeric matrix. A plurality of solid granules may be obtained from the blend to make the granular infill material. Each granule includes a polymeric matrix including the polymeric materials and a reinforcing filler dispersed in the polymeric matrix. The reinforcing filler may include pieces of the textile support.
Precise extrusion and transfer apparatus for light guide plate production
The present invention discloses a precise extrusion and transfer apparatus for light guide plate production, including: a feed hopper; a dehumidifying and drying device; a screw conveyor fixedly mounted on one side of the outer wall of the dehumidifying and drying device; a screw extrusion device; and a molding box fixedly mounted with first motors and a second motor on one side of the outer wall by means of bolts, where power output ends of two sets of first motors pass through the molding box and are fixedly mounted with first precise roller bearings by means of rotating shafts, and a power output end of the second motor passes through the molding box and is fixedly mounted with a second precise roller bearing by means of a rotating shaft. According to the present invention, one-step molding from a particle base material to a finished light guide film is implemented, the problem of warpage is overcome, the production efficiency is improved, and the production cycle can be shortened to 1 s; and the product is thinner and can be as thin as 80 μm, the production costs such as material consumption and labor are greatly reduced, key indicators of the product such as brightness and light transmittance of the light guide film are comprehensively improved, and the advantages in quality and costs are enabled in fierce market competition.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A resin composition suitable for profile extrusion processing is provided. Based on the total weight of the resin composition, the resin composition includes 40 wt. % to 92.1 wt. % of polyester; 2 wt. % to 15 wt. % of modifier, 0.2 wt. % to 1.5 wt. % of tackifier, and 0.1 wt. % to 40 wt. % of filler.
INDUCTIVE HEATING ARRANGEMENT
An inductive heating arrangement for heating smokable material includes a susceptor arrangement, at least first and second inductor coils and a control circuit. The first inductor coil generates a first varying magnetic field heating a first section of the susceptor arrangement and the second inductor coil generates a second varying magnetic field heating a second section of the susceptor arrangement. The control circuit is configured so that when one of the first and second coils is actively being driven to generate a varying magnetic field the other of the first and second inductor coils is inactive, and so that the inactive one of the first and second inductor coils is prevented from carrying a current induced by the active one of the first and second inductor coils sufficient to cause significant heating of the susceptor arrangement.
Extruder screw having paths within the screw, extruder, and extrusion method
A conveyance portion, a barrier portion, and a path are provided at places of a portion of a screw main body in which a kneading portion is provided. In at least one of the places, an entrance is opened to cause raw materials, conveyance of which is limited by a barrier portion to increase pressure on the raw materials, to flow in. The raw materials flowing in from the entrance flow through the path in the opposite direction to a conveyance direction of the conveyance portion. An exit is opened in an outer circumferential surface of the screw main body at a position outside the conveyance portion in which the entrance is opened.
APPARATUS COMPRISING INDUCTION HEATING ELEMENTS FOR PREPARING A POLYAMIDE POLYMER
A chemical vessel utilizing induction heating elements and useful for preparing polyamides, such as nylon. The vessel can utilize an array of induction heating elements located inside a process chamber. Also described are a vessel, a heat exchanger, a process, and an apparatus useful for polyamide preparation.
Extrusion methods wherein material is guided through a passage crossing over between adjacent cylindrical bodies
A screw includes a screw main body, a conveyance portion conveying a raw material, and a passage provided in the screw main body. The passage includes a first passage element, a second passage element, and a third passage element. The screw main body has a plurality of cylindrical bodies arranged in an axial direction of the rotating shaft. At least a portion of the conveyance portion is formed on outer peripheral surfaces of the cylindrical bodies adjacent to each other, and the passage is formed in the cylindrical body so as to cross over between the adjacent cylindrical bodies.
METHODS OF PREPARING A COMPOSITE HAVING ELASTOMER AND FILLER
Disclosed herein are methods of preparing composites from solid elastomer(s) and wet filler(s), as well as products, including composites, vulcanizates, and articles therefrom. The wet filler can have a liquid content of at least 15%. A resulting composite comprises the filler dispersed in the elastomer at a loading of at least 20 phr with a filler yield loss of no more than 10%, wherein the composite has a liquid content of no more than 10% by weight based on total weight of said composite.
