METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLAME RETARDANT POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITION PELLET
A method for producing a polycarbonate resin composition pellet with a twin screw extruder, the polycarbonate resin composition pellet has 30 to 95 mass % of a resin pellet (A) containing more than 40 mass % of a polycarbonate resin in the pellet; not less than 5 mass % and less than 40 mass % of a phosphate ester flame retardant (B) that is a liquid at room temperature; 0 to 50 mass % of polycarbonate resin flake (C); 0 to 30 mass % of an ABS resin (D); and 0 to 15 mass % of an additive (E) other than component (B). The method includes feeding components (A), (C), (D) and (E) in a twin screw extruder and kneading with a first kneading zone; feeding component (B) to a downstream part in the first kneading zone and kneading with a second kneading zone; and decompressing a vent in the downstream part in the second kneading zone.
Process for drying polymeric granular material and system operating according to said process
A process for drying polymeric granular material (2) comprises the steps of: —introducing into said drying hopper (10) a process gas having a predefined flow rate so as to heat and dry the polymeric granular material, —discharging a portion of the heated polymeric granular material into a transformation unit (100) for the polymeric material; —loading an amount of fresh polymeric granular material (2a) into the drying hopper. The process gas flow rate is regulated by measuring the inlet temperature of the fresh polymeric granular material (2a) and comparing it with a predefined inlet temperature of the fresh polymeric granular material, on the basis of which the predefined process gas flow rate has been calculated. If the measured inlet temperature is different from the predefined inlet temperature, the flow rate of the process gas is regulated on the basis of the measured inlet temperature.
CONTINUOUS PROCESSOR UTILIZING QUANTUM FIELD MICRO-VARIABLE PARTICLE INTERACTION
Continuous processing equipment is suitable for use in the preparation of elastomeric compositions from end-of-life tire crumb or other vulcanized rubber starting materials. A reactor includes an outer barrel, a first shaft and a second shaft, and one or more piezoelectric transducer-driven acoustic horns arranged along the outer barrel and penetrating the outer barrel through a series of vibration-isolated ports which traverse a jacket of the outer barrel.
Dual heater system for spray dispenser
A mobile spray dispenser comprises a fluid circulation system and a heating unit. The fluid circulation system has a motorized pump capable of circulating fluid from a fluid reservoir in a high-pressure spray mode and a low-pressure recirculation mode, and of providing the fluid to a sprayer. The motorized pump draws lower power in the low-pressure recirculation mode than in the high-pressure spray mode. The heating unit is disposed within the fluid circulation system to heat the fluid to a target temperature, and comprises a primary heater and a boost heater. The primary heater is configured to be active during both the high-pressure spray mode and the low-pressure recirculation mode. The boost heater is in fluid series with the primary heater, and is configured to be active only during the low-pressure recirculation mode.
STARTER FOR THE DEVULCANISATION OF SCRAP RUBBER
A starter for the devulcanisation of scrap rubber. The abstract of the disclosure is submitted herewith as required by 37 C.F.R. §1.72(b). As stated in 37 C.F.R. §1.72(b): A brief abstract of the technical disclosure in the specification must commence on a separate sheet, preferably following the claims, under the heading “Abstract of the Disclosure.” The purpose of the abstract is to enable the Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and gist of the technical disclosure. The abstract shall not be used for interpreting the scope of the claims. Therefore, any statements made relating to the abstract are not intended to limit the claims in any manner and should not be interpreted as limiting the claims in any manner.
FLUORINE RUBBER COMPOSITION AND CROSSLINKED FLUORINE RUBBER PRODUCT
A bladder for tire vulcanizing containing a crosslinked fluoroelastomer obtained by peroxide-crosslinking a fluoroelastomer composition including a peroxide-crosslinkable fluoroelastomer (A), a carbon black (B), and a peroxide cross-linking agent (C), wherein the crosslinked fluoroelastomer has a hardness at 25° C. of 60 to 90, a number of foreign particles selected from the group consisting of lumps of carbon and carbon grit having an aspect ratio of 1.1 or less and a Heywood diameter of 5 μm or more present on a fracture surface obtained by tensile fracture of the crosslinked fluoroelastomer at 170° C. is 10/mm.sup.2 or less, and the fluoroelastomer (A) includes a vinylidene fluoride (VdF) fluoroelastomer.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMERIZATION-REACTIVE LIQUID FORMULATION
