METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR EXTRUDING RECYCLED MATERIAL
The invention relates to a method for extruding recyclate, wherein the recyclate contains light materials and/or fibres and wherein the recyclate is first comminuted and compacted and, in a subsequent method step, is fed into an extruder (2). According to the invention, the recyclate is agglomerated in a press agglomerator and in the process is heated, and is divided into pellets, and, when still in the warm state, is fed into the extruder (2) with the material still having an inherent residual temperature of at least 50 C. from the agglomeration. The invention also relates to an arrangement (1) comprising an extruder (2) which has an inlet for the material to be extruded, and a press agglomerator which has an inlet opening (6) for recyclate to be agglomerated and an outlet for the pellets produced, wherein the press agglomerator is arranged upstream of the extruder (2) such that the inlet of the extruder (2) is connected to the outlet of the press agglomerator.

Earth plant compostable biodegradable substrate and method of producing the same
An earth plant-based compostable biodegradable composition for the formation of a bioplastic and method of producing said resin, the composition comprising: about 17.5 to 45% ethanol-based green polyethylene by weight, about 20 to 25% calcium carbonate by weight, about 2 to 12% hemp hurd or soy protein by weight, about 32 to 45% starch by weight, and about 0.5 to 1% biodegradation additive by weight to enable biodegradation and composting of the bioplastic; wherein the composition is produced by first mill grinding the ethanol-based green polyethylene, calcium carbonate, hemp hurd or soy protein, starch and the biodegradation additive into fine powders, then mechanically mixing the fine powders one by one into a final mixture for about 5-25 minutes at a time, dry and without heat, and then heating the final mixture to about 220 to 430 degrees Fahrenheit.

An injection molding pellet is applied for injection molding. The base material of the injection molding pellet is a polylactic resin, and the polylactic resin is mixed with wood grains with a grain size that does not exceed 50 m.

Disclosed is a device for processing plastic materials, having a shredding unit, a conveying unit having a screw (7), and an extruder, having at least one extruder screw (11), adjoining the screw, wherein the central longitudinal axis (3) of the screw (7) is oriented at an angle to the central longitudinal axis (10) of the extruder screw (11), in particular at an angle of 80 to 100, preferably 90, and the longitudinal axis (3) of the screw (7) is offset with respect to the longitudinal axis (10) of the extruder screw (11) by an offset (v) in the direction of the direction of rotation (12) of the extruder screw (11) at or in the region of the discharge opening (8) or the intake opening (16) of the conveying unit.
