Assembly and method for managing the temperature of a mould tool
A mould tool (100) defining a workpiece profile has a first fluid-based temperature control assembly configured to control the temperature of the mould tool (100) which exhausts to a peripheral chamber (160) proximate the periphery of the workpiece profile (100) to reduce a temperature difference between the mould tool (100) and the surrounding environment.
System and method for producing artificial turf filaments
A system and method for producing artificial turf filaments according to one example embodiment includes an artificial turf filament, a first air drawn oven for heating the filament, a roll stand for applying an aqueous liquid to the filament and a second air drawn oven for heating the filament. In multiple embodiments, the filament has a latent helix shape when exposed to manufacturing or ambient heat.
Functional inorganics and ceramic additive manufacturing
The present disclosure relates to systems, methods and resins for additive manufacturing. In one embodiment, a method for additive manufacturing of a ceramic structure includes providing a resin including a preceramic polymer and inorganic ceramic filler particles dispersed in the preceramic polymer. The preceramic polymer is configured to convert to a ceramic phase. The method includes functionalizing inorganic ceramic filler particles with a reactive group and applying an energy source to the resin to create at least one layer of the ceramic phase from the resin.
A dehumidifying and drying device for straw brick
The invention discloses a straw brick dehumidifying and drying device, which includes a machine body, wherein a molding cavity is provided in the body, a sealing device is provided on the front side of the molding cavity, the sealing device includes a sealing plate, and the rotating device There is a rotating shaft, and a rotating wheel is fixed on the rotating shaft. Seven groups of storage devices are arranged on the outer periphery of the rotating wheel with the rotating shaft as the center. The storage device can place straw bricks. The rotatable rotating wheel drives the straw brick to rotate slowly, and the placement direction of the straw brick is always upward to maintain the stability of its placement. Secondly, the hot air is blown to the molding cavity through the rotation of the fan blades, and the hot air can be converted by the condensation device. It is discharged in a liquid state, and has the function of dehumidifying the molding cavity, thereby keeping the air in the molding cavity dry and improving the efficiency of preparing straw bricks.
AIR FLOW CONTROLLER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF STRETCHED FILM
An air flow controller includes: a box-shaped body cover that is disposed above and/or below a film running surface to be adjacent to an upstream side of an entrance of a tenter oven in a film running direction and/or a downstream side of an exit of the tenter oven in the film running direction, the box-shaped body cover extending in the film running direction and having a surface facing the film running surface and being open. The box-shaped body cover includes at least one partition structural body in the box-shaped body cover, the partition structural body extending in a width direction of the film and separating inside of the box-shaped body cover into a plurality of chambers, and each of at least two of the chambers is provided with an air discharge mechanism configured to discharge air in a corresponding chamber.
TREATMENT MACHINE FOR A FLEXIBLE MATERIAL WEB, IN PARTICULAR PLASTIC FILM, WHICH CAN BE PASSED THROUGH A TREATMENT FURNACE
A treatment machine comprises at least two successive zones in an extraction direction of the material web between which a neutral zone is provided. In the neutral zone, a nozzle arrangement is provided adjacent to a zone exit wall and/or to a leading neutral zone wall on the one hand, and/or adjacent to the chamber inlet wall and/or a trailing neutral zone wall on the other hand, via which nozzle arrangement a gaseous fluid flow reaching a material web is generated. The nozzle arrangement is designed as follows: the respective gaseous fluid flow is directed at a blowing angle in the direction of the adjacent zone exit wall and/or the leading neutral zone wall or the zone inlet wall and/or the trailing neutral zone wall; and the gaseous fluid flow flows as far as the material web, following the zone exit wall, the leading neutral zone wall or the zone inlet wall and/or the trailing neutral zone wall.
Spar for a composite wing structure
In one aspect, there is provided a spar member for an aircraft wing including a support beam having an interior surface, an exterior surface, and opposing ends configured for an aircraft wing, the interior surface and exterior surface disposed between the opposing ends; and a first spar flange extending generally laterally from the exterior surface, the first spar flange configured for attachment with a first wing skin. The first spar flange can be an upper or lower spar flange. In some embodiments, the first spar flange is at an acute angle relative to the exterior surface of the support beam. In certain embodiments, the first spar flange is at an angle of from about 50 degrees to about 85 degrees relative to the exterior surface of the support beam.
Vulcanization of dip-molded rubber articles with reduced molten media bath times
Pore-free rubber articles are prepared by dip-molding in a dipping medium that includes a vulcanizing agent, then partially-cured by immersing the dip former in a heated liquid bath that is chemically inert. A particularly effective liquid bath is a molten, nitrite free inorganic salt. The partially-cured rubber is then maintained at a desired curing temperature in a low/no oxygen heating oven to complete curing. Alternatively, upon removal from the molten salt bath, the latex film is quenched.
