The method includes the steps of providing a block of material comprising a plurality of paper layers connected to each other by at least one resin, cutting the block into slices, wherein a cutting plane has an angle between 5 and 85 in relation to layer planes of the paper layers, providing a flexible support layer and applying at least one of the slices to the flexible support layer to obtain a flexible composite layer, and providing a rigid carrier and applying the flexible composite layer directly or indirectly to the carrier.

A method for manufacturing a rubber product includes printing a printing layer with a pattern or a color on a plate member; processing a rubber material in mixing, heating and pressing manners; molding the rubber material and the plate member together by heating and pressing to transfer the printing layer from the plate member onto the rubber material, so as to form the rubber product; demolding the rubber product; and detaching the plate member from the rubber product when demolding the rubber product. The pattern or the color is printed to at least one three-dimensional surface of the rubber product by transferring the printing layer from the plate member onto the rubber material.

A laminated gasket (13) to be used for a medical syringe is provided, which includes a main body (14) made of an elastic material, and a film (15) provided on a surface of the main body (14). The gasket (13) has a circumferential surface portion (17) to be brought into contact with an inner peripheral surface (16) of a syringe barrel (11) of the syringe. The gasket (13) further includes a projection (22) provided on a surface portion of the film (15) present in the circumferential surface portion (17) as extending circumferentially of the gasket. The projection (22) has a height of not less than 15 m and not greater than 55 m and a width of not less than 30 m and not greater than 75 m. With this arrangement, the laminated gasket is excellent in sealability.
