Rotomolded articles comprising a layer of polyolefin and polyester
A rotomolded article can have one or more layers, including a layer A. The layer A can have from 50 to 99.4 wt % of a polyolefin, from 0.5 to 50 wt % of a polyester, and from 0.1 to 20 wt % of a co- or ter-polymer. The co- or ter-polymer can have 50 to 99.9 wt % of an ethylene or a styrene monomer, 0.1 to 50 wt % of an unsaturated anhydride-containing monomer, epoxide-containing monomer or carboxylic acid-containing monomer, and 0 to 50 wt % (meth)acrylic ester monomer.

Double wall composite drum assembly and process for manufacturing same
The present disclosure concerns process for manufacturing a closed head composite drum assembly, comprising: providing an inner shell defining a material-receiving cavity forming a material-filling opening in the inner shell; rotomolding at least partially a closed head outer drum defining an inner shell-containing cavity, the closed head outer drum at least partially enclosing the inner shell; and forming a bung opening in the closed head outer drum substantially in register with the material-filling opening. It also concerns a double wall closed head drum assembly.

Multilayer article suitable for use as a fuel container
A multilayer article is provided which is suitable for use in making (or as) a fuel container by rotational molding, wherein the multilayer article has at least one layer of a thermally cured polymer composition and another layer of a barrier polymer composition, wherein the barrier polymer composition comprises a specified modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer as a barrier polymer.
Moulded plastic articles with contact between two dissimilar plastics
A plastics molding process is provided in which a first (2) and a second plastic part (3) are molded such that a contact surface is formed between the two parts. The first part (2) is molded firstly and, while at least the contact surface is still in a liquid or plastic state, an attachment promoting powder (16) that is compatible with, and has the characteristic of attaching to, the plastic of the first part (2), is applied to it. Thereafter, the second part (3) is molded so as to contact the first part at the contact surfaces such that as it solidifies, it attaches to the attachment promoting powder (16) and thereby to the first part (2). The second part (3) may be a plastic foam filling for a hollow first part (2). The attachment promoting powder (16) may be a suitable grade of diatomaceous earth or a natural or synthetic equivalent.
