Airbag cover and manufacturing method for airbag cover
The present disclosure relates to an airbag cover, which comprises at least one door portion adapted to be opened to allow at least a portion of an airbag to be deployed, at least one hinge portion located adjacent to a side of the door portion and being adapted to provide a hinge for the door portion when opening, and at least one reinforcement portion at least partly surrounding the at least one door portion and the at least one hinge portion. The airbag cover comprises a mesh member, a first portion of the mesh member being located in the at least one reinforcement portion and a second portion of the mesh member being located in the at least one hinge portion. The at least one reinforcement portion comprises at least one rib protruding in a first direction (D.sub.1). The first portion of the mesh member has a non-planar cross-section by the mesh member being molded into a portion of the at least one rib, such that the mesh member traverses the at least one rib. The disclosure further relates to a mesh member for use in an airbag cover, a vehicle interior panel, e.g. a vehicle interior panel for a dashboard, and a method for making an airbag cover.
Moldable natural fiber nonwoven wire harness trough and method of construction thereof
A nonwoven trough and method of construction thereof are provided. The nonwoven trough includes at least one nonwoven wall formed from a mixture of bonded natural cellulosic fibers and thermoplastic fibers. The at least one nonwoven wall extends along a longitudinal axis and has a midsection and opposite end portions. The midsection has a base and a pair of walls extending upwardly from the base to provide the midsection with a generally U-shaped cross-section taken generally transversely to the longitudinal axis. At least one flange extends laterally from the at least one nonwoven wall, wherein the flange is configured for attachment to a vehicle member.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SHOWER TRAY TROUGH FROM A COMPOSITE PANEL
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a shower tray trough, from a composite panel of the sandwich type, to which a mask is applied corresponding to a pattern cavity making it possible to imprint, in the thickness of the foam reinforcing slab of said composite panel, the desired recesses to form said shower tray trough. To that end, the top plate of the composite panel is heated locally, only at the zones corresponding to the recesses to be imprinted, so as to allow the deformation of said top plate and the arrangement of said recesses in the thickness of the foam slab.
Molded casing, mold assembly and forming method
A molded casing suitable for a handheld electronic device is provided. The handheld electronic device includes a body and the molded casing, and at least one part of the body is covered with the molded casing. The molded casing is in a uniform thickness and has a continuous mosaic surface. The mosaic surface is composed of a plurality of non-coplanar polygons, wherein an intersection line is formed between any two adjacent polygons. An end of any one of the intersection lines is connected to an end of another intersection line or an edge of the mosaic surface.
Interior trim component with a three-dimensional shape for a motor vehicle and device and method for producing such an interior trim component
The present invention relates to an interior trim component with a three-dimensional shape, wherein the interior trim component is produced from a single nonwoven material and includes a first surface and a second surface. At least one region that forms the first surface, and at least one first section and at least one second section, each of which forming a part of the second surface, wherein the first section has a first section hardness, H1 and the second section has a second section hardness, H2, and the first section hardness H1 and the second section hardness H2 are different.
