Tubular Structure and a Method of Manufacturing Thereof
Methods and structures are disclosed. An example method includes: rotating a tubular mandrel about a longitudinal axis of the tubular mandrel; depositing a composite material on an inner surface of the tubular mandrel to form a composite tubular member on the inner surface of the tubular mandrel; inserting and expanding an inner expandable mandrel within the composite tubular member to cause the inner expandable mandrel to press the composite tubular member against the inner surface of the tubular mandrel; curing the composite tubular member; removing the inner expandable mandrel; placing a frame within the composite tubular member; and removing the tubular mandrel so as to obtain the composite tubular member with the frame placed therein.
ROTARY TABLET PRESS
A rotary tablet press having a rotatably driven rotor and a die plate with a plurality of die bores. A plurality of upper and lower punches are configured to produce tablets in the plurality of die bores. The tablets are monitored for one or more characteristics and are sorted by an ejection apparatus according to the one or more characteristics into a reject channel and a satisfactory channel.
MODULAR THERMOFORMING SYSTEM
A thermoforming system and related methods for manufacturing thermoplastic parts, such as interior panels for aircraft, may include a roll-to-roll operation and a forming press having at least one selectively rotatable tool. The rotatable tool, which may include a mold and/or a die, may be multifaceted, such that different faces of the tool have different mold arrangements for different forming characteristics.
Method and device for the production of form parts
The invention relates to a method for the production of form parts from multi-component reactive plastic material, especially from polyurethane, wherein a plurality of moulds are moved by means of mould carriages (1) at least temporarily along a closed, preferably oval, production line (2). To allow a simple and quick import and export of mould carriages in the respectively out of the production line the invention proposes that the mould carriages (1) are provided with rolls (3) and are moved on a stationary ground (4) by the same and that a plurality of supply carriages (6) are arranged along the closed production line (2) at a conveying element (5), which supply carriages (6) are moved by means of the conveying elements (5), wherein a mould carriage (1) is approached to a not occupied supply carriage (6) and is coupled with the same to introduce the mould carriage (1) into the production line (2), wherein for the movement along the production line (2) the mould carriage (1) is guided and moved by the supply carriage (6) in a coupled state between the mould carriage (1) and the supply carriage (6) and wherein the mould carriage (1) is decoupled from the supply carriage (6) and is moved away from the production line (2) for taking the mould carriage (1) out of the production line (2), wherein here the mould carriage (1) is moved with its roils (3) on the stationary ground (4). Mounting press, grinding and/or polishing device, and production line for mounting samples and for machining the mounted samples
The invention relates to a mounting press for automatically mounting metallographic samples in mounting material, comprising: a pressing unit with the press cylinder, a feeding device for feeding mounting material, e.g. plastic granules, a sample loading table with a plurality of loading stations, on each of which the operator can place a sample to be mounted, a control device, a grinder and/or polisher, comprising: a device housing, at least one processing station for processing the underside of the sample, wherein the processing station comprises a grinding plate with a grinding disc for grinding the underside of the sample or a polishing plate for polishing the underside of the sample, a sample feeder with a sample removal position for providing the samples for a grinding and/or polishing process, a sample deposit position for depositing the samples after the grinding and/or polishing process, a grinding-/polishing head with a sample gripper for gripping a sample, wherein the grinding/polishing head with the sample gripper moves to the sample removal position and the sample gripper grips a sample, wherein the grinding-/polishing head with the sample gripper conveys the sample to the at least one processing station and the underside of the sample is ground or polished in the processing station, and wherein the grinding-/polishing head with the sample gripper moves the sample to the sample deposit position after the grinding or polishing process and possibly further processing steps and deposits the sample there, as well as an automated production line for mounting a plurality of samples and for processing the thus mounted samples by grinding and/or polishing samples in a program-controlled overall system comprising an automated mounting press and an automated grinder and polisher.
Inspection device and molded-product processing system
An exterior inspection device configured to inspect whether or not a molded product in a predetermined shape has defectiveness based on an image of the molded product, the inspection device including: a first foreign matter determiner configured to determine whether or not, in an obtained image of the molded product, a first inspection region located inside an outline of an assumed normal molded product P includes foreign matter; and a second foreign matter determiner configured to determine whether or not, in the obtained image of the molded product, a second inspection region located outside the outline of the assumed normal molded product includes foreign matter.
COMPRESSION-MOLDING MACHINE
A compression-molding machine includes a turret including a die table having die bores penetrating the die table, an upper punch and a lower punch slidably retained respectively above and below each of the die bores, an upper roll and a lower roll respectively provided adjacent the upper punch and the lower punch, and a feeder, the compression-molding machine being of a rotary type configured to horizontally rotate the turret, fill the die bore passing below a feeder with a powdery material containing a lubricant from the feeder, and compression-mold the powdery material filled in the die bore when the upper punch and the lower punch being paired pass between the upper roll and the lower roll to produce a molded product, in which the feeder includes an agitating rotor configured to agitate the powdery material therein, and during a trial operation of producing molded products at a reduced rotational speed of the turret in comparison to a normal operation for mass production of molded products, the compression-molding machine measures a load torque of a motor configured to drive to rotate the agitating rotor in the feeder or current flowing in a coil of the motor, and controls to reduce a rotational speed of the agitating rotor in the feeder if the load torque or the current is higher than a predetermined value.
