SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING SEED PILLOWS
Systems and methods for producing seed pillows are disclosed herein. An exemplary system may include a first water-soluble film that is configured to receive a seed cluster, and a second film. The exemplary system may further include an ultrasonic welding wheel and a roller with a plurality of recesses located on an outer rim of the roller. Each recess of the plurality of recesses may include a hole through which suction is applied, and each seed cluster may be disposed over a recess. The roller may be configured to apply suction to the first water-soluble film, rotate through a contact point with the ultrasonic welding wheel to fuse the first water-soluble film to the second film without contacting the seed cluster to create a seed pillow, and release the seed pillow from the recess.
Shrink-wrapped seed pillows
Seed pillows are disclosed herein. An exemplary seed pillow may include a first water-soluble film, a seed cluster disposed on the first water-soluble film, and a second film that is positioned over the first water-soluble film and the seed cluster. The second film may have a first portion that is fused to a second portion of the first water-soluble film from ultrasonic vibrations. Further, the first water-soluble film and the second film may be shrink-wrapped around the seed cluster through heat application to the first water-soluble film and the second film for a first period of time.
Seedling planter
A seedling planter is configured to plant a plurality of seedlings in ground. The seedling planter includes a vehicle body, a seedling-storage unit, and a seedling-distribution unit. The seedlings are held together in the form of a seedling package that is stored within the seedling-storage unit. The seedling-distribution unit is configured to separate each seedling from the seedling package and plant each seedling in the ground as the vehicle body travels across the ground. A method includes forming the seedling package.
METHOD FOR SEPARATING THE SHELL FROM SEEDS OR FRUIT, SIFTING DEVICE, AND SELECTION DEVICE
Procedure for separating the husk from the seeds or fruit, screening device and selection device
It comprises introducing the seeds or fruit in a splitting machine that hits said husk of the seeds or fruit, splitting it.
Seed slicer device
A seed slicer device (100), which has: a first plate (102) provided with first holes (104); a second plate (106) provided with second holes (108), adapted to fit over the first plate; a sliding plate (110) slidably coupled to a top portion of the second plate, operable to cover the second holes; a third plate (112) provided with a third holes (114), adapted to fit over the second plate; and a cutting assembly (116) coupled to the third plate and adapted to slide over the third holes to provide a slicing action; the seeds are received by the third holes such that at least a first part of the seeds extend beyond the third holes, and, upon actuation of the cutting assembly, the seeds are cut by the cutting means to divide the seeds into corresponding first parts and second parts.
SEEDFILM PRODUCTION APPARATUS AND SOWING SYSTEM COMPRISING THE SAME FOR MINIMAL WATER WASTAGE
A seedfilm supply apparatus includes a cutting and adhesion unit to form germination gaps for seed attachment in a biodegradable film supplied from a mulch film supply unit; a seed supply unit to feed seeds into the germination gaps formed through the cutting and adhesion unit; and a mulch film laying unit to lay the biodegradable film having the seeds attached thereto on a farmland and cover the biodegradable film with soil turned over by a soil tiller unit, wherein the cutting and adhesion unit includes a cutting actuator, a pivot plate pivotably coupled through the cutting actuator, a cutting blade unit coupled to the pivot plate, an adhesive supply unit coupled to the cutting blade unit to supply an adhesive, and an adhesion roller to transport the adhesive supplied from the adhesive supply unit to the germination gaps formed in the biodegradable film.
VISION SYSTEM FOR METERING DEVICE
A metering device for dispensing agricultural product from a bin. The metering device comprises a housing enclosing an interior space, and at least one metering wheel positioned within the interior space of the housing and configured to convey agricultural product through the metering device. The metering device additionally comprises an access door rotatably coupled with the housing and configured to selectively provide access to the interior space of the housing. The metering device further includes a vision system comprising at least one camera incorporated with the access door. The camera is configured to capture images and/or video of agricultural product being conveyed through the metering device.
Seed-on-paper-band packaging machine suitable for plot breeding and working method thereof
A seed-on-paper-band packaging machine includes: a seed delivery mechanism, including a seed filling assembly and an air-suction-type seed metering device connected sequentially, a plurality of suction holes are arranged on an outer wall of the seed metering device at equal intervals along a circumferential direction thereof; a seed metering baffle is arranged on one side of the suction hole at a lowest point of the seed metering device facing the rotating direction thereof, to block seeds and reduce a speed of the seeds in a horizontal direction to zero; a paper-band releasing and collecting mechanism, a paper-band glue spraying and sealing mechanism, a seed-on band drawing mechanism and a frame.
Method and device for placing seeds in capsules
A device and method for inserting seeds in a capsule includes a seed bin for storing a plurality of plant seeds and a materials bin for storing a growing medium, enables a first tray and a second tray to move to a plurality of positions. At vacuum needle generates a vacuum suction at a tip sufficient to extract a plant seed from a bin. A robot arm, moves the vacuum needle to a plurality of positions. Circuitry controls the motor. When the vacuum suction from the vacuum needle is removed, the seed picked up by the vacuum needle is released into a capsule body.
