METHOD FOR PRODUCING STRUCTURE
A structure body having a resin molded body which can suppress deterioration of external appearance due to meander of the folded line formed in the hinge portion even when the resin constituting the resin molded body contains an inorganic fiber. The structure body has a resin molded body and the resin molded body includes: a first main body portion and a second main body portion; and a hinge portion; wherein the first main body portion and the second main body portion are connected at the hinge portion with each other so as to be rotatable with respect to each other; the hinge portion comprises a first thin portion, a second thin portion, and a thick portion.
MOLDED POCKET IN TRANSACTION CARD CONSTRUCTION
Methods and apparatuses are provided for manufacturing a transaction card. The disclosed methods and apparatuses may be used to form a transaction card frame within a mold. The transaction card frame may include one or more recessed portions formed within a first surface of the transaction card frame. The one or more recessed portions may be configured for affixing one or more electronic components.
Bearing, Traction or Drive Element Made of an Elastomer Material Having Embedded Electronic Components
A band or belt designed as an elongate bearing, traction or drive element running around rollers or pulleys and made of an elastomer material, and preferably provided with embedded reinforcing elements or tension members extending in the longitudinal direction of the band or belt, having the following features: the band or the belt has one or more elongate tubular receptacles embedded in the elastomer material, in the cavity of which electronic components are arranged, preferably sensors, signal processing or control devices and/or transmission devices, the tubular receptacles are embedded in the elastomer material in such a way that their longitudinal axis or the direction of their greatest extent is oriented substantially transversely to the main bending direction of the band or belt.
Flexible golf club grip with stable cap
A flexible elastomeric grip for the shaft of a golf club having an end cap with a cavity for receiving a sensor and/or counterweight. The cap has a durometer hardness equal to or greater than the tubular body portion of the grip and a flange sized to match the larger diameter of the body, with a sleeve engaging the inner periphery of the larger end of the tubular body. In one version of the cap, the sleeve portion is extended in length and has stiffening ribs on the outer surface of the sleeve; and, in another version, the sleeve is shorter and may also have stiffening ribs on the outer surface of the sleeve. In another version of the cap, fibrous material is disposed in the flange and sleeve to increase lateral stiffness without increasing durometer.
Methods and apparatus for integrated gang bonding and encapsulation of stacked microelectronic devices
Methods for fabricating microelectronic device assemblies, the method comprising providing mutually spaced stacks of microelectronic devices on a substrate and substantially concurrently encapsulating the stacks of microelectronic devices on the substrate and gang bonding mutually aligned conductive elements of vertically adjacent microelectronic devices. Compression molding apparatus for implementing the methods, and resulting microelectronic device assemblies are also disclosed.

RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE
The method includes placing a block-shaped second resin on a backside of a composite sheet within outer edges, the composite sheet being made up of a plurality of stacked fiber sheets impregnated with a first resin and pressing the composite sheet and the second resin by a heated mold, to produce a resin molded article having the composite sheet embedded in a part of a surface of a resin layer of the second resin that extends to sides of the composite sheet. The composite sheet is formed such that a first fiber sheet of the plurality of fiber sheets positioned closest to a front side of the composite sheet is larger than other fiber sheets and covers the other fiber sheets entirely from the front side, when placed inside the mold.
VEHICLE TRIM COMPONENT
A vehicle interior/trim component configured to support an airbag module is disclosed. The component may comprise a structural substrate with a reinforcement to provide a door/opening for airbag deployment. The reinforcement may comprise a pattern of threads (e.g. top stitch to secure the door and bottom stitch). The reinforcement may comprise threads sewn within and/or pressed into a surface of a substrate/panel. The top stitch thread weight may be greater than that of the bottom stitch. The top stitch may comprise a retaining thread/hinge; the bottom stitch may separate upon deployment. The reinforcement may comprise KEVLAR, aramid, nylon, polyester, thread, ceramic fibers, polymeric fibers, synthetic fibers, etc. The structural substrate may comprise a fiber panel, compression-formed component, generally rigid fiber mat, etc. The component may be formed by injecting resin into a mold to form an ancillary component of a composite structure.
PRESSURE PLATE ARRANGEMENT, PRODUCTION ARRANGEMENT, DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TRANSITION REGION BETWEEN AERODYNAMIC PROFILE ELEMENTS
In order to allow or improve a laminar air flow in a transition region between aerodynamic profile elements, a pressure plate arrangement is proposed. The pressure plate arrangement comprises a pressure plate body and at least one cover strip, in particular a sealing strip. The pressure plate body has an outlet region from which free-flowing sealant can exit during pressing. The cover strip already contains cured sealant and presses the free-flowing sealant flat in order to be able to form the transition region.
