The outer surface of the pressure shoe is spaced from the molding surface in the pressure zone to define a minimum gap at which the outer surface of the pressure shoe has a slope parallel to the molding surface. The pressure shoe is adapted to be held in a flexed condition against resin in the pressure zone while forcing resin into the cavities, with the outer surface of the pressure shoe curved upstream of the pressure zone.

The invention relates to a device for preparing composite material waste, in particular carbon fiber-reinforced waste, comprising a comminuting assembly (2) for the composite material waste, a downstream temperature control zone (3) for controlling the temperature of the comminuted composite material waste, and a forming unit (4) for producing composite material waste compacts. In order to provide companies without recycling facilities, regardless of the type of composite material waste, with a low-cost and environmentally friendly alternative to dumping harmful composite material waste in landfills, it is proposed that the comminuting assembly (2), the temperature control zone (3) and the forming unit (4) are arranged in an at least substantially hermetically sealed and transportable working chamber (1).

The present invention provides a kneader/extruder that is provided with a heating cylinder (16), a screw (17) housed in the heating cylinder (16) so as to be capable of rotation and forward/backward movement, and a die (18) attached to the tip of the heating cylinder (16), and generates a plastic compound (6) having a reinforcement fiber kneaded therein, said kneader/extruder being provided with a shutter member (19) that opens and closes a compound extrusion port (18a) provided in the die (18), and performing kneading and extrusion of the compound (6) intermittently. The shutter member (19) may be provided with a scraper (20) that scrapes the compound (6) off from the surface of the die (18). Due to this, this kneader/extruder can generate a one-press portion of the compound and can be easily maintained.

The second press device includes a pressurizing surface formed of a metal press plate, the laminate molded article being pressurized by a driving force of a servomotor. The third press device includes a pressurizing surface formed of a metal press plate, the laminate molded article being pressurized by a driving force of a servomotor.
