The present invention provides an imprint apparatus which forms a pattern of an imprint material on a substrate by using a mold, the apparatus comprising a control unit configured to control a process of deforming the mold into a convex shape and bringing the mold and the imprint material into contact with each other, wherein the control unit determines, based on information indicating a relationship between a relative tilt between the mold and the substrate, and a moment which fluctuates the relative tilt at a time of contact between the mold and the imprint material, a target relative tilt such that a moment generated at the time of contact between the mold and the imprint material falls within an allowable range, and starts contact between the mold and the imprint material after setting the relative tilt to the target relative tilt.

Cup-type container and method of forming the same

A cup-type container obtained by compression-forming a thermoplastic resin and including at least a flange portion, a body portion and a bottom portion, wherein a ratio (L/D) of the height of the container to the diameter of the opening is not less than 1.0, and if the direction of height of a test piece cut out from the body portion of the container is denoted by x and the circumferential direction thereof by y, a half-value width P at a half peak of a Miller index at a diffraction angle 2θ=14.5° that represents the diffraction by the crystal plane (110), is in a range of 1.25 to 1.5 over the whole body portion in a peak intensity profile in the direction of height (x-direction) of a Debye's ring obtained by measuring the diffraction intensities by causing the X-rays to be incident on an x-y plane of the test piece at right angles thereto. The cup-type container is evenly oriented in the direction of height of the container and in the circumferential direction thereof, has an even strength in all directions and has excellent heat resistance. The invention, further, provides a method of forming the cup-type container.

Method and apparatus for batched compression molding of rubber and plastic products

Provided is a method and device for batched compression molding of rubber and plastic products by means of multiple mold cavities, including alternating operation of a blank shuttle and a male mold that is in a bottle cap mold, being controlled by means of engagement of two partial gear sets. Mold opening motion, isostatic pressing energy storage, and spring energy storage are implemented by means of the engagement characteristic of the partial gear sets, and mold closing and compression molding are implemented by means of the non-engagement characteristic, isostatic pressing energy storage, and pressurization of the partial gear sets. The method and device effectively resolve the general problem of low production efficiency and poor precision and stability of existing compression molding cap manufacturing equipment.
