A method for manufacturing a wind turbine blade is provided, including arranging a first and second mandrel and an upper mold on a lower mold, wherein a fiber lay-up is arranged in the lower mold, the upper mold and between the first and second mandrels for molding a lower shell, an upper shell and a shear web of the blade, respectively, and wherein the first and/or second mandrels includes one or more sensors arranged at an outer surface thereof and adjacent the fiber lay-up provided for molding the shear web, infusing the fiber lay-up with resin and curing the resin, and monitoring the infusion and/or curing of the resin by the one or more sensors.

An apparatus for producing objects in continuous cycle from plastic material comprises: a distributor unit; a forming station for forming a plurality of objects by compression moulding; a metering unit including an outlet valve system switchable between an open and a closed configuration, a plurality of partition elements upstream of the outlet valve system and movable between an upper limit position and a lower limit position to vary the internal volume of the distributor unit, and a group of actuators to move the partition elements between the upper limit position and the lower limit position, wherein, in a charging configuration of the metering unit, the outlet valve system is in the closed configuration, and in a discharging configuration, the outlet valve system is in the open configuration, the apparatus comprising a control unit for switching the metering unit from the charging configuration to the discharging configuration and vice versa, and for driving the group of actuators to move the corresponding partition elements.

An inspection device configure to detect an indication of abnormality occurred to a predetermined member of a machine used for production of a molded product from a powdery material, the inspection device including an acoustic emission (AE) sensor detachably attached to the predetermined member of the machine or a portion adjacent to the predetermined member, and a controller configured to receive a signal outputted from the AE sensor disposed at the predetermined member of the machine or the portion adjacent to the predetermined member during operation of the machine, determine whether or not the predetermined member has an indication of abnormality in accordance with the signal, and output information on a result of determination.
