Crash pad for vehicle and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention relates to a crash pad for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof. In one embodiment, the method for manufacturing the crash pad for the vehicle comprises a step of injecting a skin foam-forming composition between a lower mold having a color coating layer formed thereon and an upper mold having a core layer formed thereon, foaming the injected skin foam-forming composition to form a skin foam layer, wherein the color coating layer is formed by applying the color coating composition to the inside surface of the lower mold and curing the applied color coating composition.
Vehicle interior panel with sealed perforations
A vehicle interior panel includes a foam layer formed from a liquid foam precursor between a substrate and a visible decorative skin layer that has perforations formed therethrough. In some cases, the perforations are associated with a line of stitching sewn into and through the skin layer. A sealing film is located beneath the skin layer in the perforated region to prevent the liquid foam precursor from leaking through the perforations during foam formation. The sealing film extends beyond the perforated region and into a non-perforated region, in some cases extending substantially over the entire back side of the skin layer. In this manner, the edges of the sealing film do not cause visual blemishes on the visible surface of the decorative skin layer over time.
INTERIOR PANELS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Interior panels for motor vehicles and methods for making such interior panels are provided. In one example, an interior panel includes a substrate and a skin covering that at least partially overlays the substrate. A foam is disposed between the skin covering and the substrate. A gas-receiving hollow structure is at least partially disposed in the foam. The gas-receiving hollow structure has an opening configured for receiving gas and includes a wall that at least partially surrounds a chamber that is in fluid communication with the opening.
Apparatus and method for manufacturing interior part of vehicle
An apparatus for manufacturing an interior part of a vehicle may include a pressure sensor disposed at a position on a surface of a base of the interior part at which a foaming pressure of a foam material is detected, a tube controlling an expanding pressure, disposed on a surface of a skin layer of the interior part to press against the base, and a tube pressure controller for controlling the expanding pressure of the tube, which causes the skin layer to be pressed to the surface of the base, relative to the foaming pressure of the foam material detected by the pressure sensor during foaming of the foam material, to block leakage of the foam material.
Vehicle seat
This seat for vehicles is provided with: a seat cushion frame that forms the skeleton of the seat part of the seat; a cushion material disposed on the seat cushion frame; and a trim cover that covers the cushion material. The seat cushion frame has a cushion side frame that supports the lateral lower section of the seat part of the seat, and a trim wire that is fixed to the cushion side frame. The ends of the trim cover have a pocket part sewn in a pocket shape, and are configured such that the trim cover is fixed by inserting the trim wire into the pocket part.
Cushion pad of vehicle seat and manufacturing method thereof
A cushion pad of a vehicle seat including: a cushion member including a soft pad and a hard pad which is harder than the soft pad, the soft pad being integrated with the hard pad so as to wrap the hard pad without covering a mounting side surface of the hard pad, wherein a groove, which is opened to the mounting side and having a size large enough to receive an exuding piece generated during molding of the soft pad, is provided in a periphery of the mounting side surface of the hard pad.
HEADREST AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE HEADREST
A method of manufacturing a headrest including a stay, a skin material, a cushion material, and a dynamic damper is provided. The method includes arranging the skin material in a molding die, arranging the stay, to which an air bag is attached in such a manner as to cover the dynamic damper, inside the skin material, and injecting a foamable synthetic resin raw material into the skin material to foam-mold the injected foamable synthetic resin raw material integrally with the stay.
Method for Selectively Producing a First or a Second Variant of a Multi-Layer Plastic Component
A method for selectively producing a first or a second variant of a multi-layer plastic component, where both variants have a substrate part, a decorative layer, and a foam layer between the substrate part and the decorative layer, includes producing the foam layer in a foaming mold which has a first mold half, into which the substrate part is inserted before the foaming process. To produce the first variant, the decorative layer is inserted into a second mold half of the foaming mold before the foaming process. To produce the second variant, a spacer layer is inserted into the second mold half before the foaming process where, after the foaming process, the spacer layer is removed from the foam layer and the decorative layer is applied to the foam layer. The foam layer includes at least one first portion having a higher contour stability than a second portion.
Method for manufacturing a vehicle interior trim part intended for covering an airbag
A method for manufacturing a vehicle interior trim part intended for covering an airbag. The method includes the steps of: a) providing a support having an opening; b) providing a chute channel defining a passage to guide deployment of the airbag and integral with a cover member; c) fastening the chute channel to the support by a continuous peripheral bead of adhesive extending along the periphery of the opening; d) bringing a mold element to face the support and chute channel so as to define a closed cavity; and e) injecting foam into the cavity.
