METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING FOAM COMPOSITE ELEMENTS
The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for applying a foamable reaction mixture to a moving outerlayer, the reaction mixture being applied from discharge openings on the outerlayer, and the outerlayer moves at a speed of 15 meters per minute relative to the discharge openings. The system also comprises 7 discharge openings.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING FOAM COMPOSITE ELEMENTS
The invention relates to a method and a device for applying a foamable reaction mixture to a moving cover layer (10), the reaction mixture being applied to discharge openings (400) on the cover layer (10) and the cover layer moving at a speed of 15 meters per minute relative to the discharge openings. The device also comprises 7 discharge openings (400).
Expandable web with in-situ combination of expansion material components
A method for making an expansion wall is provided. The method can include applying a matrix to a first ply and applying an expansion element to the surface of the matrix. A second ply is applied over the first ply to trap the matrix and expansion element therebetween. The applied expansion element is entrained into the applied matrix to provide an expansion material that is configured to expand to, and solidify in, an expanded condition upon activation.
Universal barrier system panels
A universal barrier system includes universal barrier components that may be assembled together to shield floors and walls from moisture and provide a thermal break in an operational area of the universal barrier component. A lap zone of the universal barrier component may allow universal barrier components to be assembled and installed to protect floors, walls, ceilings, footings and the like from moisture and heat gain or loss by minimizing the need for tapes and other joining methods. The universal barrier system may also act as a sound deadening material. The operational area and lap zone of the universal barrier component may be disposed on a vapor block layer to provide some rigidity. The operational area of the universal barrier component may include a thermal break disposed upon the vapor block layer. The thermal break may include an outer protective layer. In addition, universal barrier tape and universal barrier edging may be provided to couple adjoining universal barrier components.
Method for producing a self-adhesive
A method for producing a foamed thermally crosslinked mass system, wherein the mass system is foamed at a first temperature in a first step, and crosslinker substances are added to the mass system in a subsequent step at a second temperature lower than the first temperature, wherein the crosslinker substances are crosslinker substances for thermal crosslinking of the mass system.
Sound insulating sheet material with a cellular structure including gelatine and/or a process for producing the same
A composition for producing a sheet material with a cellular structure, the composition including the following components: (a) about 5 to about 25 weight % gelatine, (b) about 25 to 60 weight % filler material, (c) about 15 to about 40 weight % water, and (d) a cellular structure promoting agent.
CURVED HEAT SHRINK TUBING AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Curved heat shrink tubing and methods of making the same are described herein. An example method includes inserting heat shrink tubing into a tube, curving the tube, and deforming the heat shrink tubing, inside of the tube, to have a curved shape along a length of the heat shrink tubing where a first length of the heat shrink tubing along an outer radius of the curved shape is longer than a second length of the heat shrink tubing along an inner radius of the curved shape.
THERMOPLASTIC PREPREG BASED FOAM PRODUCT
A system for manufacturing a thermoplastic prepreg product includes a belt or conveyor, a prepreg applicator that positions a thermoplastic prepreg atop the belt or conveyor, a foam applicator that applies a foam mixture atop the thermoplastic prepreg, a heating mechanism that heats the thermoplastic prepreg and the foam mixture to cause the foam mixture to react atop the thermoplastic prepreg, and a laminator that is configured to press the thermoplastic prepreg and foam mixture to control a thickness of the resulting thermoplastic prepreg product. The thermoplastic prepreg includes a fabric, mat, or web of fibers and a thermoplastic material that is impregnated within the fabric, mat, or web of fibers. The thermoplastic material is formed from in situ polymerization of monomers and oligomers. The foam mixture includes an isocyanate, a polyol blend, and a blowing agent.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLOOR PANELS AND FLOOR PANEL FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING
Method for manufacturing floor panels, where the floor panels include a carrier on the basis of thermoplastic material and a top layer provided on the carrier; and where the method further includes at least the steps of strewing the thermoplastic material and consolidating the strewn thermoplastic material; where the thermoplastic material is strewn as a dry-blend.
