One object of the present invention is to provide a polyolefin resin foam sheet suitable as a sealing substrate having both flexibility and heat resistance despite its thinness, and an adhesive tape in which the polyolefin resin foam sheet is used. In order to achieve this, the polyolefin resin foam includes a thermoplastic elastomer, wherein the endothermic peaks measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) occur in the range of at least 110° C. or more and 143° C. or less and at 153° C. or more, and the thermoplastic elastomer resin is contained at a ratio of 30% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less in 100% by mass of the polyolefin resin.

A method for manufacturing a foamed profile including one or more longitudinal hollow chambers having a closed section, including (a) extruding a first polymer composition, in the presence of one or more first foaming agents, into a foamed base profile having a polygonal section, preferably a rectangular section, the first polymer composition including one or more (co)polyesters, (b) cooling the foamed base profile, (c) creating a trench along the length of the foamed base profile by removing material, preferably by means of milling, cutting, laser or thermofusion, the trench forming two parallel branches in the foamed base profile, each of the branches including an outer surface opposite the trench and an inner surface facing the trench, and (d) extruding, inside the trench, a second polymer composition which may or may not be identical to the first polymer composition, preferably in the presence of one or more second foaming agents, into a spacer at at least one location between the two inner surfaces of the two branches of the trench, so as to form at least one closed hollow chamber inside the trench. A color-changing polymeric material is provided. The material is formed from a thermoplastic composition containing a continuous phase that includes a matrix polymer, colorant, microinclusion additive, and nanoinclusion additive, wherein the microinclusion additive and nanoinclusion additive are dispersed within the continuous phase in the form of discrete domains. A porous network is formed in the polymeric material when subjected to a deformational strain in a solid state. The polymeric material exhibits a first color prior to being subjected to the deformational strain and a second color after being subjected to the deformational strain, the first color being different than the second color.

A preparation method of a high-rate foamed polylactic acid (PLA) sheet includes first-stage extrusion, second-stage extrusion, and foamed sheet extrusion. The method requires the following raw materials in parts by mass: 88 to 94 parts of PLA, 1 to 2 parts of a nucleating agent, 2 to 5 parts of a foaming agent, and 2 to 5 parts of an additive. The new method effectively solves the problems of low foaming rate, low strength, and the like in the industrial production using carbon dioxide, and a prepared PLA sheet with high foaming rate and excellent surface performance can be used in the fields of food packaging, disposable fully-degradable lunch boxes, and the like.
