An intermediate subframe is pivotally connected at a forward end to the upper subframe and is pivotally connected at a rearward end to the lower subframe. A first and second linkages are pivotally connected at a forward end to the upper subframe and are pivotally connected at a rearward end to the lower subframe. An actuator system is capable of applying a downforce and an optional lift force to the lower subframe. The row cleaner assembly may include a gauge wheel supported by a rear strut subframe. The row cleaner assembly may include a depth selector to change the depth of penetration of the row cleaner wheels into the soil surface.

Agricultural product delivery applicator with a pneumatic conveying system having a distributor assembly

An agricultural product delivery applicator for delivering particulate product to a field. The applicator includes a supply compartment to hold the product and a pneumatic conveying system. The system includes an airflow source to provide an airflow, and a delivery line operably connected to the airflow source and to the supply compartment. The delivery line includes a supply line and a plurality of distribution lines. The system further includes a distributor coupling the supply line with the plurality of distribution lines, a motor disposed on the distribution lines side of the distributor, a shaft assembly rotatable by the motor, and a bearing supporting the shaft assembly on the supply line side of the distributor. The applicator further includes a metering system operably connected between the supply compartment and the pneumatic conveying system. The metering system meters product with the airflow to result in a mixed flow of airflow and product.

System and method for metering agricultural products

A metering system for an air cart includes a metering subassembly having a first meter module configured to meter particulate material from a storage tank of the air cart to a first section of an agricultural implement and a second meter module configured to meter the particulate material from the storage tank of the air cart to a second section of the agricultural implement. The metering system includes a controller having a processor configured to receive a prescription rate map indicative of prescribed product application rates for respective geographic regions of a field, to receive a speed of the agricultural implement, and to independently adjust the first meter module and the second meter module based at least in part on the prescription rate map and the speed to facilitate application of the particulate material at the prescribed product application rates in the respective geographic regions.

A meter assembly for an agricultural machine includes a meter, a conduit, and a bypass. The meter includes a roller to move commodity to the conduit. The bypass is coupled to the conduit and the meter to facilitate air flow therebetween free of interference from the roller or the commodity.

Pneumatic delivery system for application implement using multiple metering devices

A pneumatic delivery system for particulate agricultural products includes one or more compartment for containing and supplying one or more particulate product. An inductor assembly separately receives and fluidizes the particulate products and conveys the fluidized products to a metering assembly. The metering assembly separately meters each of the product flows and transfers the metered flows to one or more delivery units for applying the products. The pneumatic delivery system can be used on various implements, including planters and applicators for applying seeds, fertilizer, pesticides and other products.

Timing system for seeder product delivery

A delay period timing system for a seeding implement with a feed control. A distribution network conveys products to the furrow openers, and a feeding mechanism controls flow of products into the distribution network. A flow sensor downstream from the feeding mechanism detects when products are flowing at a sensing location, and a timer measures a delay period between the time the feeding mechanism starts or stops flow and when the flow sensor starts or stops detecting flow. The delay period is adjusted to account for the location of the flow sensor. A method of determining the delay period includes determining the length of the distribution network and determining the speed of flow of the products. The system can be used on seeding implement with or without sectional control.

An agricultural air cart assembly includes an agricultural air cart. The agricultural air cart includes independently controllable, first and second product metering systems that regulate the rates at which product flows from a storage compartment into corresponding first and second distribution lines. Independently controllable, rotatable fans are operatively connected to corresponding first and second distribution lines and are configured to generate optimized air flows in the first and second distribution lines which entrain and carry the product downstream toward corresponding row units at balanced pressures.

Gate retention for an inductor box of an agricultural implement

An inductor box for an agricultural implement includes an inlet configured to receive agricultural product from a tank. The inductor box also includes a housing having a cavity therein. The cavity is configured to receive the agricultural product from the inlet. The inductor box includes a gate configured to be removably inserted between the inlet and the cavity, to block the agricultural product from entering the cavity while disposed between the inlet and the cavity, and to enable the agricultural product to enter the cavity while removed from being disposed between the inlet and the cavity. The inductor box includes a first guide coupled to the housing and configured to direct the gate away from the inlet. The first guide is disposed between the gate and the inlet while the gate is disposed between the inlet and the cavity.
