A system and method for a vehicle in the form of a material spreader capable of distributing material over a ground surface. As an example, the material spreader may distribute granular materials, such as fertilizer, over the ground surface. The material spreader may include a material holder having a center of mass that is low to the ground surface, lowering the overall center of mass of the material spreader and providing enhanced stability for the material spreader.

Disclosed herein are tank assemblies, and particularly tank assemblies including conveyors for the transfer of granular materials, such as seeds. Such conveyors can include a conduit through which the granular material is moved, and a rotatable auger configured to move the seeds through the conduit. Also disclosed herein are control systems and methods for the operation of the tank assemblies and particularly the conveyors disclosed herein. According to certain aspects of the disclosure, the control methods may implement signals from one or more sensors to monitor the level of the granular material in the tank assemblies, and control signals to operate the conveyors to arrive at targeted levels of granular material in the tank assemblies.

An adjustable handle for a broadcast spreader includes: a base portion that is configured to be operably connected to a gate of a broadcast spreader, such that, when the base portion is operably connected to the gate, movement of the base portion causes a corresponding movement of the gate; and one or more links. Each link of the adjustable handle is configured to be selectively connected to the base portion, such that each link can be selectively connected to a distal end of the base portion at different locations along the length of the link to affect the height and/or configuration of the adjustable handle. The adjustable handle can include multiple links which can be selectively positioned and arranged in different configurations to affect the overall height and shape of the adjustable handle.

A vehicle mounted spreader and components thereof. The material spreader includes a mount and a spreader assembly. The mount is mountable to a vehicle such as an ATV, UTV, truck, and/or the like. The spreader assembly is mountable to the mount thereon. A user may change the speed at which material is dispersed from the spreader assembly.
