Spray tip and method of manufacture
A spray tip comprises a tip body, a tip piece, and a pre-orifice piece. The tip body has a fluid channel along a channel axis (A.sub.C). The tip piece is disposed within the fluid channel, and has a stepped, narrowing passage that terminates in an outlet orifice. The pre-orifice piece has an inlet passage, and is disposed within the fluid channel, abutting and immediately upstream of the tip piece. The pre-orifice piece and the tip piece together define a turbulating chamber therebetween.

The method includes: a cover attaching step of attaching a cover member made of transparent synthetic resin to the outer surface of a part of the primary container where a vapor-deposited layer is provided; a placing step of placing the primary container in a mold with the cover member facing a gate; and an insert molding step of injecting a transparent synthetic resin material from the gate.

A spacer for maintaining one or more wires during a molding process, the spacer having an external frame, and a plurality of spring curved leaves. Each spring curved leaf has a fixed end attached to an inner face of the external frame and a free end. The free ends of the plurality of spring curved leaves are arranged to flexibly wrap the one or more wires.
GAMING CHIP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A new type of RFID tag is provided. A gaming chip that incorporates a sticker-type RFID tag comprises: an enclosing member having a predetermined shape for enclosing the RFID tag; a body member that is injection-molded to encapsulate the enclosing member with the RFID tag; and a gaming chip for amusement. The enclosing member consists of a first part and a second part, and at least the first part or the second part has a flat surface to which a sticker-type RFID tag can adhere, and the first part and the second part are combined to form an enclosing member, in which the sticker-type RFID tag is covered by the first part and the second part.
NEEDLE ASSEMBLIES CONTAINING ORIENTED ACUPUNCTURE NEEDLES AND METHODS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF
Acupuncture needles may be used for piercing tissue with less trauma than may occur when employing larger gauge needles. However, because acupuncture needles are fabricated and packaged differently than are larger gauge needles, acupuncture needles may be less compatible with certain manufacturing processes. Needle assemblies compatible with manufacturing processes may comprise a continuous support material having a plurality of apertures defined therein, and a first injection molded coupler that surrounds a proximal portion of an acupuncture needle and connects the acupuncture needle to a first location upon the continuous support material, such that the acupuncture needle is held in a pre-determined orientation with respect to a longitudinal axis of the first injection molded coupler. The acupuncture needles in adjacent apertures may also be spaced apart substantially uniformly.
INJECTION- OR COMPRESSION-MOLDED ARTICLES
Various embodiments disclosed relate to injection-molded or compression-molded articles. A method of injection molding or compression molding an article includes directing a shot of molten material into a mold cavity including a plurality of contacting substantially identical modular mesh parts to fill the mold cavity. The method also includes solidifying the shot of molten material to form the article including the plurality of modular mesh parts and the solidified shot of molten material. Various embodiments also provide parts machined from a block produced by various methods of injection molding or compression molding.
LOW PRESSURE MOLDED ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME
An article includes a hollow enclosure defining a void. The void has a first section and a second section separate from the first section. An electronic component is housed in the first section and the second section of the void. A low pressure mold material is molded into the first section of the void and cured around a first segment of the electronic component to encapsulate the first segment of the electronic component. A support seal is inserted into the second section of the void adjacent a second segment of the electronic component. The support seal defines a sealing barrier on one side of the low pressure mold material that limits the flow of low pressure mold material out of the first section of the void.

The assembly process also includes aligning the pin with an aperture of a basin rim insert. The assembly process also includes pressing the basin rim insert towards the end face such that the pin is received within the aperture of the basin rim insert.
COMPOSITE COMPONENTS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE COMPONENTS USING MAGNETIC FORCES AT FIBER PREFORM SEAMS
A method of manufacturing a composite component according to various aspects of the present disclosure includes disposing a fiber preform in a mold. The fiber preform includes a first portion having a first edge and a second portion having a second edge. The first edge and the second edge cooperate to at least partially define a gap. One of the first portion or the second portion includes a first ferromagnetic material and the other of the first portion or the second portion includes a first magnetic or magnetizable component. The method further includes closing the gap by generating a magnetic field from the first magnetic or magnetizable component. The method further includes injecting a polymer precursor into the mold. The method further includes forming the composite component by solidifying the polymer precursor to form a polymer. The composite component includes the fiber preform and the polymer.
Manufacturing method of molded article including annular resin member
In the primary molding step, the insert core having axially-projecting convex portions aligned apart from one another in the circumferential direction is located in a primary molding die, and the injection molding is performed. In the secondary molding step, the annular internal resin member and the insert core which have undergone the primary molding step are located in a secondary molding die, and the injection molding is performed. Gates for injecting molten resin in a cavity of the secondary molding die are located in the secondary molding die so that welds that are joining points of the molten resin in the secondary molding step are positioned in the radially outside of rib portions.
