Injection Molding a Device Such as a Cable Holder with an Integrated Wireless Tagging Foil
The disclosure relates to a method for injection-molding a device, in particular a cable tie, with an integrated wireless tag, comprising the method steps of a) putting a tagging foil with two main surfaces which are separated by an edge, into a mold cavity of an open mold, where the tagging foil is held in place by a supporting device; b) closing the mold; c) injecting an injection material into the mold cavity parts adjoining the two main surfaces of the tagging foil simultaneously and symmetrically with respect to a main extension plane of the tagging foil which is parallel to the two main surfaces of the tagging foil so as to simplify and speed up the manufacturing process of a device with an integrated wireless tag or label. The disclosure furthermore relates to a corresponding molding device as well as a corresponding device with an integrated wireless tag.
Sensor production by holding the intermediate injection-molded part
A method for producing an electronic device, the method including: encasing an electronic assembly with a first casing material; holding the first electronic assembly encased by the first casing material over a holding element such that the holding element is spaced apart from the electronic assembly above the first casing material, and encasing the assembly retained on the holding element with a second casing material.
HUBS FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
A method of making a medical device includes holding a spacer tool by a slot of a mold, and accommodating a portion of a first tube by a lumen in the spacer tool, wherein a region of the first tube is inside the mold cavity and outside the spacer tool, and an end of the first tube is in engagement with an end of a first lumen-defining section of a first core pin. The spacer tool includes a first section located in the mold cavity when the spacer tool is held by the slot of the mold, the first section of the spacer tool being configured to define a cavity to be formed circumferentially around a part of the first tube inside a hub to be formed, wherein the part of the first tube is different from the region of the first tube.
In-mould labelling process
There is disclosed an in-mould labelling process for the manufacture of a labelled article comprising the steps of: feeding a labelstock web into a mould; forming an article in the mould such that the formed article contacts and effectively adheres to a label of the labelstock web; detaching the adhered label from the labelstock web; and removing the formed and labelled article from the mould.
Injection molding apparatus and method of use
The present invention surrounds an apparatus and method for the use in injection molding of articles of manufacture using an injection molding apparatus having a valve-gate pin or a plurality of valve-gate pins for actuation to extend and retract from a cavity within an injection mold. The valve-gate pin may have a retention feature or retention features configured for the retention of molded parts such that the retraction or extension of the valve-gate pin provides part removal from an associated injection mold. Further, the valve-gate pin may have a feature or features to facilitate the injection of fluids, gases or particles during or after the primary injection process. Additionally, a plurality of such valve-gate pins may be employed within each mold cavity, or within each valve-gate actuation system.
Method and device for manufacturing an interdental cleaner
A method for manufacturing an interdental cleaner includes providing a rod-shaped carrier made of plastic, into which laterally protruding bristles are embedded. In this case, a filament array formed of a plurality of filament strands is inserted into a holding cassette and is fixed in a predefined alignment in the holding cassette by means of a holding device. The holding cassette is then inserted into an injection-molding device and the filament array is coated with plastic in the injection-molding device, forming a plurality of rod-shaped carriers arranged spaced apart next to one another. Finally, the filament strands forming the filament array are separated at least in the sections located between adjacent rod-shaped carriers. In addition, a device for carrying out the method is provided.
Terminal, molded product for power module provided with terminal, and method of manufacturing molded product for power module provided with terminal
There are provided a method of manufacturing a molded product for a power module capable of integrally molding terminals and a substrate, and a terminal in a particular shape used for the manufacturing method. The method of manufacturing the molded product for a power module includes the steps of: inserting a first tip portion of each of terminals having a particular shape into a substrate; arranging the substrate in a mold such that the second tip portion is inserted into a terminal insertion portion inside the mold; and integrally molding the substrate and the terminals by flowing resin into the mold.
FISHING LURE AND APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A fishing lure and apparatus and method of making the same. A fishing lure according to aspects of the invention include a lure body formed about a through wire. Eye loops are provided at opposed ends of the trough wire to attach a tackle element for catching a game fish. An optional decorative layer is applied to the lure body to mimic the visual appearance of a bait. A clear protective shell is molded about the lure body to encapsulate the lure body and protect the lure body, and optional decorative layer from damage. The apparatus includes a first and second mold, with the first mold forming the lure body in the shape of the bait and the second mold forming the clear protective shell about the lure body.
FISHING LURE HAVING IMPROVED FIN CHARACTERISTICS
A method of manufacturing a fishing lure includes positioning a feather or fur portion about a mold that approximates a body of a fishing lure. The feather or fur portion is positioned proximal to where a fin of the fishing lure would be. The method includes filling the mold with a flexible material to form the fishing lure body, wherein the flexible material engages the feather or fur portion to encapsulate at least a portion thereof within the fishing lure body and ejecting the completed fishing lure body having feather or fur portions at the position proximal to where a fin of the fishing lure would be. A related fishing lure/bait is also provided.
Overmolded plug and method
A cover of a fuel supply module is adapted to disable a flow path through a designated port. An element is press-fit into the designated port to plug the designated port, and thermoplastic material is molded over an interface defined between the element and the designated port.
