VEHICLE-INTEGRATED LIDAR SYSTEM
A method of integrating a lidar system in a vehicle involves disposing one or more receive portions of the lidar system in one or more first locations of the vehicle and fabricating an integrated transmit portion of the lidar system to be disposed in a second location of the vehicle. The fabricating includes injection molding optical components to light emitting devices affixed to a printed circuit board to form a transmit portion and overmolding one or more additional elements to the transmit portion. The overmolding includes performing one or more additional injection molding processes.
SPACER FOR HARNESS BUNDLE
A spacer for maintaining one or more wires during a molding process, the spacer having an external frame, and a plurality of spring curved leaves. Each spring curved leaf has a fixed end attached to an inner face of the external frame and a free end. The free ends of the plurality of spring curved leaves are arranged to flexibly wrap the one or more wires.
System and method for molding RFID tags
An example method for making a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag according to the present disclosure includes holding a transponder within a cavity of a mold using a fixture, closing the mold, injecting material into the mold cavity and around the transponder to form a part of the RFID tag, opening the mold, and ejecting the part from the mold.
SINK SYSTEMS
An assembly process for assembling a basin using a molding tool operable between an open position and a closed position, the molding tool having a female molding insert, a male molding insert, and an insert jig, the female molding insert and the male molding insert cooperating to define a mold cavity when the molding tool is in the closed position, the female molding insert having an aperture, the insert jig having a sleeve and a cylinder, the cylinder repositionable within the sleeve and having an end with an end face and a pin protruding from the end face, includes applying adhesive to the pin. The assembly process also includes aligning the pin with an aperture of a basin rim insert. The assembly process also includes pressing the basin rim insert towards the end face such that the pin is received within the aperture of the basin rim insert.
INSERT MOLDING SHEET, MOLDED PRODUCT, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MOLDED PRODUCT
An insert molding sheet to be used for insert molding has a positioning rib to be fixed to a mold facing a cavity.
INDUCTION CONNECTION SLEEVE
An induction connection sleeve for fusion joining of plastic pipes includes a sleeve body having a first and a second receiving portion for receiving first and second connection portions of the plastic pipes to be connected, a first induction heating element and a second induction heating element. The sleeve body includes an inner part, which inner part forms the two receiving portions and on which the induction heating elements are accommodated in such a way that the recesses of the induction heating elements are penetrated by the inner part and are flush at their outer lateral surfaces with the inner part in the area of the induction heating elements. The sleeve body further includes an outer part which is connected to the inner part in a bonded manner and surrounds the outer lateral surfaces of the induction heating elements.
Method of forming at least one channel within a substrate and a system
A method of forming at least one channel within a substrate includes coupling a fitting to a mold, and securing together the fitting and an insert via threads. A system includes a mold configured to form the substrate. The method also includes inserting a component into an opening of the fitting. Part of the component is disposed outside of the opening of the fitting, and the component is utilized to define the at least one channel within the substrate. The method further includes molding at least one material to the component and the insert to form the substrate. Furthermore, the method includes removing the fitting from the insert while the insert remains molded to the substrate.
Manufacturing method of molded product, molded product, cartridge, and image forming apparatus
A method of producing a molded product includes preparing a mold for insert molding, setting an insert member, forming a cavity in a condition in which the insert member is disposed by closing the mold and injecting a molten resin into the cavity. The mold for insert molding includes first and second molds, and the first mold has a guide surface provided at a part corresponding to a trunk portion of the molded product within a wall surface defining a groove portion which constitutes a part of the cavity. The insert member is set at the groove portion of the first mold while the projecting portion being guided by the guide surface.
COMBINATION LURE
A lure includes one or more cores having a surface shape and coloration configured to represent an anatomy of a food for a game fish with one or more outer portions of translucent material disposed thereabout. The outer portion is at least partially flexible with one or more outer fins and/or tails configured to cause the lure to move through water in conformance with a mode of transit. The core presents a three-dimensional appearance of a schooling baitfish, a bottom baitfish, a crustacean, an amphibian, a worm, a grub, an insect, a spider, a leech, or another creature that is attractive to fish. The core may include a surface shape and/or coloration that represents a mouth, an eye, a fin, and/or one or more gills or opercles. The core may be formed around a rigid object such as a hook, a line leader, or a weight.
Injection Molding a Device Such as a Cable Holder with an Integrated Wireless Tagging Foil
The disclosure relates to a method for injection-molding a device, in particular a cable tie, with an integrated wireless tag, comprising the method steps of a) putting a tagging foil with two main surfaces which are separated by an edge, into a mold cavity of an open mold, where the tagging foil is held in place by a supporting device; b) closing the mold; c) injecting an injection material into the mold cavity parts adjoining the two main surfaces of the tagging foil simultaneously and symmetrically with respect to a main extension plane of the tagging foil which is parallel to the two main surfaces of the tagging foil so as to simplify and speed up the manufacturing process of a device with an integrated wireless tag or label. The disclosure furthermore relates to a corresponding molding device as well as a corresponding device with an integrated wireless tag.
