The invention relates to an illuminable display element, in particular for a vehicle, which display element comprises a planar cover (1). The planar cover has a visible side (10), a rear side (11), and at least one opening (14). The display element also comprises at least one graphic element (2), which is provided and/or formed on the visible side (10) of the cover (1), and a lighting means (3), which is used to illuminate the opening (14). The graphic element (2) is at least partially surrounded by the at least one opening (14) in such a way the graphic element (2) can be at least partially peripherally illuminated by the light of the lighting means (3). The cover (1) comprises at least one elevation (12) extending upward, within which the graphic element (2) is arranged above the at least one opening (14), and/or the cover (1) comprises at least one recess (13) extending downward, within which the graphic element (2) is arranged below the at least one opening (14).

A warm-air blowing circuit and another warm-air blowing circuit are disposed so as to heat a film from both sides of a projection side and a recess side of a die, warm air reaches and heats the film from the time of supplying of the film, warm air continues to enter a space in which a resin is to be ejected even after the die is closed, and thereby the film is likely to extend. Therefore, the film is unlikely to be torn at the time of molding when the film is likely to be shaped after a shape of the die and it is possible to prevent broken pieces of the film or broken pieces of a decoration film from being mixed and being stuck to the surface of the die such that it is possible to improve quality of the external appearance of a molded product.

Method of manufacturing in-mold decorative appliqué with textured surface
A manufacturing method for a plastic-molded automotive interior trim component produces a curvilinear finished surface with a relatively flat portion and a relatively curved portion. A decorative film subcomponent is molded with a substantially smooth outer surface that is pigmented with a desired color of the finished surface. The decorative film subcomponent is placed into a mold having a film-receiving surface with a three-dimensional texture at both the relatively flat portion and the relatively curved portion. A structural backing member is in-mold laminated with the decorative film subcomponent by injecting molten plastic material against the inner surface of the decorative film subcomponent in the mold, wherein pressure of the molten plastic material expands the decorative film subcomponent to form an embossed pattern which is substantially uniform and undistorted covering at least part of the relatively flat portion and at least part of the relatively curved portion.
GASKET, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND METHOD FOR HANDLING SAME
A gasket with a carrier film containing a combination of a rubber-only gasket body and a carrier film holding the gasket body. The carrier film can be easily detached from the gasket body even when the gasket body adheres to the carrier film. In embodiments, the gasket contains a combination of a rubber-only gasket body and a carrier film holding the gasket body. A tab enlarging the plane area of the gasket body is integrally provided in the gasket body. As a method for handling the gasket, when the carrier film is detached from the gasket body, the carrier film is detached from the gasket body in a state where the gasket body is fixed to a base with the tab or the carrier film is detached from the gasket body with the tab in a state where the carrier film is fixed to the base.
Method for manufacturing decorative molded article
A method for manufacturing a decorative molded article includes first to fourth steps. In the first step, a plastic sheet is secured to a cavity block in a state in which first and second portions are arranged along an open end of a molding recess. The plastic sheet is tightly held by the cavity block and a securing member at the first portions and is not tightly held at the second portions. In the second step, the plastic sheet is deformed. In the third step, the plastic sheet is secured to the cavity block in a state in which the plastic sheet is tightly held by the cavity block and the securing member over the entire periphery of the opening of the molding recess. In the fourth step, the plastic sheet is molded by being caused to closely contact the molding surface of the cavity block through vacuum suction.
METHOD FOR MOLDING A PART, FOR EXAMPLE FOR VEHICLE INTERIORS, TYPICALLY A DASHBOARD AND/OR INTERNAL PANELS, AND CORRESPONDING PART
An injection molding method of a part for vehicle interiors includes arranging a mold having a first injection chamber defining in negative a base of the part. Thermoplastic material is injected into the first chamber and the base is extracted from the first chamber and placed in a second injection chamber. A lining film is inserted in the second chamber and deforming it to arrange the film on an outer surface thereof, adhering to an esthetic wall of the second chamber opposite a functional wall. An intermediate plastic layer is injected in a gap between an inner wall of the base facing the lining film, and an inner surface of the lining film opposite the outer surface to create a single sandwich structure. The intermediate layer is between the lining film and the base, has lower hardness than the base and forms a yielding padding for the lining film.

A method comprises the following steps: providing a carrier material having an outer side and an inner side within a mold having at least one first and at least one second mold part. Three-dimensionally molding an outer layer of the panel on the outer side of the carrier material within the mold. Three-dimensionally molding an inner layer of the panel on the inner side of the carrier material using at least the first mold part.
GASKET AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The invention provides a gasket which improves a handling workability of a rubber only type gasket. The gasket of the invention is constructed by a combination of a rubber only type gasket main body, and a carrier sheet which is made of a resin film retaining the gasket main body in a non-bonded state, and the carrier sheet is provided with an air inflow port for making air flow into a portion between the carrier sheet and the gasket main body when the gasket main body is detached from the carrier sheet. A gasket retention portion having a three-dimensional shape which is deformed along an outer shape of the gasket main body is arranged at a position which laps over the gasket main body in a plane in the carrier sheet, and the gasket main body is partly accommodated within the gasket retention portion in a thickness direction.

A method comprises the following steps: providing a carrier material having an outer side and an inner side within a mold having at least one first and at least one second mold part. Three-dimensionally molding an outer layer of the panel on the outer side of the carrier material within the mold. Three-dimensionally molding an inner layer of the panel on the inner side of the carrier material using at least the first mold part.
