Flow tent for an agricultural product bin

An implement for dispensing agricultural product. The implement comprises a bin for holding agricultural product, with the bin including a plurality of product openings for dispensing agricultural product from the bin. The implement additionally includes a plurality of metering devices secured to a bottom of the bin and configured to receive agricultural product from the bin through the product openings. The implement further includes a plurality of flow tents positioned within the bin. Each flow tent is positioned between a pair of the product openings. The flow tents extend upward from an interior side of the bottom of the bin so as to guide agricultural product towards the product openings.

Seed meter assembly with seed loader

A seed meter assembly for a seeding machine. The seed meter assembly has a metering member mounted for rotation about a meter axis and driven to rotate in a direction of travel, the metering member having an inner surface configured to receive seeds and an outer surface and apertures passing through the metering member between the inner surface and the outer surface at a radial distance from the meter axis. The seed meter assembly also has a seed delivery mechanism configured to discharge the seeds from the seeding machine, and a loader including at least one non-cylindrical loader surface movable into and out of a position in which the loader surface is disposed at the radial distance adjacent one of the apertures.

PNEUMATIC SOYBEAN SEED METER

The present disclosure relates generally to precision agriculture. More specifically, the disclosure relates to systems for metering and distributing seeds in planting fields. The disclosure refers to a pneumatic seed metering device that provides an optimized seed distribution for soybean planting. The meter releases the soybean seeds by vacuum cutting and letting the seeds fall by gravity. A seed disk is equipped with a plurality of seed holes spaced radially along a seed passage region, and the seed disk drive is performed at a peripheral region of the seed disk. The plurality of seed holes are arranged in a single row with a distance between two consecutive seed holes being in a range of 2.1 to 3.5 times the diameter of one of the seed holes, the diameter of the holes being defined in a range of 3.5 to 4.5 mm.

Planter with high speed seed delivery apparatus

An agricultural planting implement includes a number of row units. The row units include one or more seed meters for receiving, singulating, and dispensing seed to the ground such that preferred spacing of subsequent seed is attained. A seed meter provides seeds one at time to a seed carrier, such as a brush wheel. The brush wheel may move the seeds one at a time to a seed conveyor by directly moving seeds along a curved portion of a seed disc in the seed meter. The seed conveyor may be a flighted belt, and the velocity of the seeds when transferred from the seed carrier may match the velocity of the flighted belt. The seed conveyor conveys the seeds to a position near the bottom of a furrow, and ejects the seeds with little or no horizontal velocity relative to the bottom of the furrow.

Row unit with tracks

A planting unit includes a seed meter for singulating and dispensing seed. Opening wheels or discs are included to create an opening in the field, such as a furrow. The unit includes one or more continuous tracks for supporting the row unit as it moves through the field. The tracks can be positioned on opposite sides. The tracks reduce compaction around the created furrow and provide better control of seed depth placement. One or more motors are included to operate the tracks to move the planting unit through a field for planting independent of a tow vehicle.

Particle delivery assembly of an agricultural row unit

A particle delivery assembly of an agricultural row unit includes a particle tube configured to receive a particle and to deliver the particle toward a trench in soil. The particle tube includes a first body portion, a second body portion, and a hinge coupled to the first body portion and to the second body portion. The hinge is configured to enable the first body portion and the second body portion to pivot relative to one another between an open position of the particle tube and a closed position of the particle tube.

Brush belt for seed delivery

A brush belt including a base member having first side with a traction surface and a second side that is opposite the first side, the first side having a mounting surface having a longitudinal axis, a first edge, second edge, and a plurality of projections extending from the mounting surface between the first edge and the second edge, the first edge and second edge of the mounting surface being parallel to the longitudinal axis, and a plurality of bristle clusters coupled to the base member, each bristle cluster of the plurality of bristle clusters having a plurality of bristles and being positioned between two projections.

Air seed meter with adjustable singulator

A seed metering system, for use on a row crop planter, selects individual seeds from a seed reservoir and dispenses the seeds singularly at a controlled rate. A direct drive seed metering system includes a seed disc having a plurality of suction apertures with a recessed pocket adjacent to an aperture. The recessed pockets act to agitate seeds in the seed reservoir and to direct seed flow towards the apertures. A seed path relief system aids in the placement of the seeds such that they are released from an outer edge of the seed disc. An adjustable seed singulator is mounted adjacent to the face of the seed disc where inner and outer blades are adjusted radially to compensate for the singulation of various seed sizes and shapes. The seed disc is driven via engagement of an internal gear with the external gear of an independent drive motor.
