A method of manufacturing a seal assembly for attachment to a vehicle having a mounting point and a vehicle point spaced from the mounting point at a distance with an apparatus having first and second receptacles, a cavity, and a locator receptacle spaced from the cavity, including: extruding a first strip to form a first body between first ends; extruding a second strip to form a second body between second ends; providing a locator; positioning the locator into the locator receptacle; positioning a first end into the first receptacle with the first body engaging the locator; positioning a second end into the second receptacle; forming a mold at the cavity bonding the strips together at a mold point; and bonding the locator to the first body so a distance between the bonded locator and the mold point is equal to the distance between the mounting point and the vehicle point.
TRIM STRIP ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A trim strip assembly for a vehicle and method of making the same is provided. The trim strip assembly includes a first trim portion. The first trim portion has a polymeric base and a first decorative member bonded to the polymeric base. The polymeric base is formed of polymeric material molded to the first decorative member. The polymeric base includes a first coupling member. A second trim portion has an extruded base and a second decorative member bonded to the extruded base. The extruded base and the second decorative member are coextruded. The extruded base includes a second coupling member. The first coupling member is bonded to the second coupling member to interconnect the first trim portion and the second trim portion.
PRODUCTION AND POSITIONING METHOD FOR SEALING PROFILES
In order to improve manufacturing tolerances, a method for producing a positionable sealing profile for vehicle doors and a positioning method using sealing profiles with a positioning pin are proposed. In the production method in which a positioning pin is also injection-molded, at least two injection-molding processes are carried out before the tool is re-opened and/or without the sealing profile being alternatively reclamped in another tool. In the corresponding positioning method, the positioning pin may be moved against the stop and/or introduced into a recess, such that the positioning pin and thereby the sealing profile retain a defined position in relation to the tool.
METHOD OF PRODUCING ULTRASONIC FLOWMETER, ULTRASONIC FLOWMETER PRODUCED BY THE METHOD AND FLUID CONTROLLER HAVING THE ULTRASONIC FLOWMETER
An ultrasonic flowmeter includes a measurement pipe through which a fluid flows, and two ultrasonic transceivers provided on outer side portions of the measurement pipe so as to be spaced apart from each other in an axis direction. In the method of producing the ultrasonic flowmeter, fabricating the measurement pipe in advance is fabricated, and then is set in a mold as an insert. Two transmitting bodies are formed by insert molding on the outer side portions of the measurement pipe so as to be spaced apart from each other in the axis direction, so that the two transmitting bodies are integral with the measurement pipe. The two ultrasonic transceivers are mounted on the two transmitting bodies, respectively.

In order to reduce production tolerances, a receiving device is proposed for receiving a first, in particular a sealing profile for vehicle doors, which is designed to injection mold at least one, in particular two further profiles onto the first profile, comprising at least two molds, in order to hold the first profile in each of the molds at least in some sections, having a connecting device for connecting two of the at least two molds and for aligning the first profile, wherein the two interconnected molds each comprise at least one receiving opening for receiving and holding the profile and the connecting device, wherein the receiving opening is designed to be able to receive the first profile and the connecting device in at least one of the two interconnected molds so as to be at least partly countersunk.

An ultrasonic flowmeter includes a measurement pipe through which a fluid flows, and two ultrasonic transceivers provided on outer side portions of the measurement pipe so as to be spaced apart from each other in an axis direction. In the method of producing the ultrasonic flowmeter, fabricating the measurement pipe in advance is fabricated, and then is set in a mold as an insert. Two transmitting bodies are formed by insert molding on the outer side portions of the measurement pipe so as to be spaced apart from each other in the axis direction, so that the two transmitting bodies are integral with the measurement pipe. Cathode plate edge protector and methods of manufacture
A method of manufacturing an edge protector for a cathode plate includes inserting a first retention plate into a slit in a first edge strip, proximate an end of the first edge strip. The first retention plate is also inserted into a slit in a second edge strip, proximate a first end of the second edge strip. Additionally, the first retention plate is inserted into a gap of a first plug, such that the first plug abuts both the end of the first edge strip and the first end of the second edge strip. A corner cap is then overmolded on the end of the first edge strip, the first plug, and the first end of the second edge strip.
FIXED WINDOW ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
The subject invention includes a fixed window assembly for a vehicle comprising a fixed glass, a trim portion having a polymeric base and a decorative member bonded to the polymeric base. An encapsulation is coupled to the fixed glass and the polymeric base to mount the trim portion in a spaced and adjacent position relative to the fixed glass. A method of manufacturing is also provided using first and second molding apparatuses. Polymeric material is injected into a first mold cavity of the first molding apparatus to form the polymeric base bonded to the decorative member. Polymeric material is injected into a second mold cavity of the second molding apparatus to form the encapsulation coupled to the fixed glass and simultaneously coupled to the polymeric base to mount the trim portion in an adjacent position to the fixed glass.
BACKPLATE, PLASTIC-IRON INTEGRATED STRUCTURE, BACKLIGHT UNIT AND DISPLAY DEVICE
The present invention relates to the display technology field, and provides a backplate, a plastic-iron integrated structure, a backlight unit, and a display device. The backplate is provided with a first through hole, and the first through hole has an inner wall and an outer wall which form a projection structure on the backplate. When the backplate is bonded with a plastic frame to form the plastic-iron integrated structure, the plastic frame not only contacts the inner wall of the first through hole, but also contacts the surface of the projection structure, thus increasing the contact area between the plastic frame and the backplate, and increasing the bonding force between the plastic frame and the backplate. Even when the plastic frame shrinks in case of fluctuations in temperature and/or humidity, the plastic frame is not easily separated from the backplate, and the stability of the formed plastic-iron integrated structure is improved.
