The first trim portion has a polymeric base and a first decorative member bonded to the polymeric base. The polymeric base is formed of polymeric material molded to the first decorative member. The polymeric base includes a first coupling member. A second trim portion has an extruded base and a second decorative member bonded to the extruded base. The extruded base and the second decorative member are coextruded. The extruded base includes a second coupling member. The first coupling member is bonded to the second coupling member to interconnect the first trim portion and the second trim portion.

The film extends sufficiently onto the front surface of the rim such that the film remains adhered to the rim upon an impact to the glass panel which breaks the glass panel, thereby containing any broken glass from the cover and/or display monitor from escaping the cover.

The vehicle window includes a glass; and the encapsulation assembly formed by the above method. The gasket may bind with the primer layer more closely. That is to say, binding force between the reinforcement component and the gasket may be increased. In this way, the gasket may not easily detach from the reinforcement component.

Even if the lower mold is movable according to the variation of the thickness of the plate-like glass, at least the surface of the plate-like glass does not have a step with the frame, and at least the front side of the glass molded product becomes flat.

Therefore, the color of the colored layer makes the diffuse reflection less noticeable and improves an appearance.
