SEAL PART AND CONNECTOR
A seal part includes an elastic body that is in close contact with outer peripheral surfaces of a plurality of wires and an inner peripheral surface of a wire accommodation portion, and a rigid body that has an outer peripheral surface disposed to face the inner peripheral surface of the wire accommodation portion. The rigid body has a plurality of wire through holes allowing wires to coaxially pass through respectively. The elastic body includes first seal portions that respectively correspond to the wire through holes, and that are in close contact with the outer peripheral surfaces of the wires passing through the wire through holes, and a second seal portion that is in close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the wire accommodation portion in the wire accommodation portion.

A base-material/gasket unit mold which can reduce molding failure occurrence is provided. The mold includes a first half mold including a base material holding portion arranged on a first parting surface to hold a base material, and a second half mold having a second parting surface and used together with the first half mold to close and open the mold. The second half mold includes a gasket cavity defined on the second parting surface side to form a gasket main body 121 on a surface of the base material, an isolated rubber cavity forming an isolated rubber portion isolated from the gasket main body on the surface of the base material, and a mold-pressing portion arranged around the isolated rubber cavity to press the base material when the mold is closed and having a recessed part defined on a press surface side to reduce deformation of the base material.
Systems and methods for sealant injection molding
A mold tool is provided that includes plural mold sub-volumes configured to receive a sealant, a mold channel in fluid communication with the mold sub-volumes, a sealant injection port in fluid communication with the mold channel, vacuum application ports in fluid communication with the mold sub-volumes, and an air control system. The air control system is operably coupled to the mold sub-volumes and the mold channel, and is configured to apply a vacuum to the mold sub-volumes via the vacuum application ports.

To effectively prevent a breakage of a plate when a gasket body formed of a rubber-like elastic material is integrally molded at both faces of the plate formed of a brittle material such as carbon. In order to attain this object, there is provided a method of manufacturing a plate-integrated gasket in which a gasket body formed of a rubber-like elastic material is integrally formed at both sides of a portion along a peripheral edge of a plate in the thickness direction, where an area located between gasket molding cavities defined by clamping the plate between split dies of a metal mold in the plate is formed to be a relatively thick portion at a position, facing an opening of a gate through which a molding material is injected into the cavities, and in the vicinity thereof.

A rotary pump for a fluid metering system is provided. The rotary pump reciprocates, and is reversed by a signal from a limit switch that is deflected by an actuator arm on a rotating sleeve of the pump system. The rotary pump includes a plunger and optional stopper formed from a two-shot molding process, and including seals overmolded onto the head of the plunger and the head of the optional stopper.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEALANT INJECTION MOLDING
A mold tool is provided that includes plural mold sub-volumes configured to receive a sealant, a mold channel in fluid communication with the mold sub-volumes, a sealant injection port in fluid communication with the mold channel, vacuum application ports in fluid communication with the mold sub-volumes, and an air control system. The air control system is operably coupled to the mold sub-volumes and the mold channel, and is configured to apply a vacuum to the mold sub-volumes via the vacuum application ports.

Provided is a structure in which an inserted article is easily inserted and a product is easily released from a die after molding. The structure includes a positioning mechanism which is vertically arranged on one split die, includes a positioning pin having a tapered distal end, and positions the inserted article by engaging the inserted article with the positioning pin, a stop mechanism that has a spring means assembled with the one split die and a stopper portion held by the spring means, and temporarily stops movement of the other split die when the other split die comes into contact with the stopper portion at the time of mold clamping, and a pressing mechanism that has a spring assembled with the other split die, a pusher pin, a spring assembled with the one split die, and a pusher pin, and elastically presses the inserted article by the pusher pin.
