An undermold coupling to couple a hose to a hose fitting includes: a tubular portion to be inserted into a hose interface of the hose fitting; threads formed on an inner surface of the tubular portion to engage a support helix on an end of the hose as a set of threads; and a first grating comprising a first plurality of elongate portions to intermesh with a corresponding second plurality of elongate portions of a second grating of the hose interface, wherein the first plurality of elongate portions extend into a second plurality of slots defined by the second plurality of elongate portions, and the second plurality of elongate portions extend into a first plurality of slots defined by the first plurality of elongate portions.

Strain relief for connector and cable interconnection

A strain relief for a coaxial cable and coaxial connector interconnection is provided as an injection moldable polymer material surrounding the interconnection. The injection moldable material fills a solder pre-form cavity between an outer conductor of the coaxial cable and an inner diameter of a bore of the connector body, strengthening and environmentally sealing the interconnection. Where the outer conductor is corrugated, the polymer material may be provided covering an exposed portion of the corrugations and/or filling portions of a corrugation trough between an outer jacket and the outer diameter of the outer conductor.

A bar pin bushing assembly including a bar pin having at least one end with at least one bore to receive a fastener, the at least one bore extending through the at least one end, the bar pin having a central portion having a diameter that is greater than a width or diameter of the at least one end of the bar pin, a compressible rubber section positioned around the central portion of the bar pin, the compressible rubber section further extending around downwardly tapering surfaces adjacent the central portion of the bar pin, an outer metal shell mold bonded to the compressible rubber section, a first disc insert positioned over a first end of the outer metal shell, a second disc insert positioned over a second end of the outer metal shell, and a tubular outer metal wall positioned over the outer metal shell, the first disc insert, and the second disc insert.

BASEBALL OR SOFTBALL BAT WITH MODIFIED RESTITUTION CHARACTERISTICS

A softball or baseball bat with modified restitution characteristic is provided. The bat can comprise a substantially rigid core coupled with a single or multi-piece sleeve. The core can comprise a tip end, a barrel portion, a handle taper, and a handle. A sleeve assembly can be disposed over the barrel portion, and the sleeve assembly can comprise one or more materials capable of impact absorption. The sleeve assembly can include a ring portion positioned about a circumference of the barrel portion, an outer sleeve, and an inner sleeve disposed between the outer sleeve and the barrel portion.

INDUCTION CONNECTION SLEEVE

The invention relates to an induction connection sleeve (1) for fusion joining of plastic pipes (2, 3). The induction connection sleeve (1) comprises a sleeve body (9) having a first (5) and a second receiving portion (7) for receiving first (4) and second connection portions (6) of the plastic pipes (2, 3) to be connected, a first induction heating element (12) and a second induction heating element (13). The sleeve body (9) comprises an inner part (10), which inner part (10) forms the two receiving portions (5, 7) and on which the induction heating elements (12, 13) are accommodated in such a way that the recesses (16) of the induction heating elements (12) are penetrated by the inner part (10) and are flush at their outer lateral surfaces (14, 15) with the inner part (10) in the area of the induction heating elements (12, 13). The sleeve body (9) further comprises an outer part (11) which is connected to the inner part (10) in a bonded manner and surrounds the outer lateral surfaces (14, 15) of the induction heating elements (12, 13).

Low pressure molded strain relief for coaxial connector interconnection

A strain relief for a coaxial cable and coaxial connector interconnection is provided as an injection moldable polymer material surrounding the interconnection. The injection moldable material fills a solder pre-form cavity between an outer conductor of the coaxial cable and an inner diameter of a bore of the connector body, strengthening and environmentally sealing the interconnection.

Variable diameter stator and rotor for progressing cavity motor

A mud motor for use in a wellbore may include a stator and rotor. The tolerance between the stator and rotor may be varied along the length of the mud motor to, for example, reduce wear of the stator at predetermined locations. The tolerance may range from an interference fit to a clearance fit. The tolerance may vary multiple times across the length of the mud motor.

Method for producing a cable harness and cable harness

A cable harness is surrounded in certain regions by a sheath made of a casting compound. In order to ensure a defined delimitation of the casting compound, even if there is an insert part protruding from the sheath, the method for sealing a tool opening provides that a pressure element is pressed in the radial direction against the insert part. The insert part is clamped between the pressure element and a support element, and the support element remains in the cable harness as a consumable element. The insert part is particularly designed as a heat protection element. The cable harness is used particularly in a thermally stressed environment for a motor vehicle.
