Display device and method of manufacturing cover member
A display device includes a display member configured to display an image in a first direction and a cover member on the display member. The cover member includes a flexible member including a front part defining a front plane perpendicular to the first direction, and a first side part connected to a first side of the front part and defining a first side plane different from the front plane, and a rigid member partially overlapping the flexible member and on the front part.
SEALING METHOD
A sealing method for sealing an opening of a metallic molded body with a resin molded body, the metallic molded body having a cavity therein and an opening connected to the cavity, includes a step of irradiating laser light onto a joining surface on a periphery of the opening of the metallic molded body in an energy density of 1 MW/cm.sup.2 or more and at an irradiation rate of 2000 mm/sec or more to roughen the surface, and a step of placing, in a mold, a portion including the joining surface of the metallic molded body roughened in the preceding step and sealing the opening with a resin molded body formed by injection molding or compression molding of a resin.
Method of connecting a skirt to a thruster body casing
The terminal portion of a prefabricated skirt is connected to a casing of a thruster body in the vicinity of an end wall thereof using a method including positioning the terminal portion of the skirt with circumferential clearance around the casing of the thruster body in the vicinity of the end wall; keeping the skirt in position relative to the casing of the thruster body; closing both ends of an annular space between the terminal portion of the skirt and the casing of the thruster body; injecting elastomer into the annular space; and curing the elastomer.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING IRON CORE PRODUCT
According to one embodiment, a method for manufacturing an iron core product includes providing an iron core body which includes a magnet insertion hole in which a permanent magnet is disposed, injecting a molten resin into the magnet insertion hole of the iron core body at a first pressure, and setting a pressure applied to the molten resin to a second pressure lower than the first pressure after the molten resin is injected into the magnet insertion hole and before the molten resin is cured.
INTEGRALLY MOLDED BODY AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
An integrally molded body has a bonding resin (C) interposed between a board (A) and a member (B), one surface of the board being a design surface, wherein: inside the member (B), a first bonding section disposed to space apart the board (A) and the member (B) and by which at least a partial region of an outer peripheral edge section of the board (A) bonds to the bonding resin (C), is provided; and at least at a part of the design surface-side surface of the integrally molded body, a region where the board (A), the member (B), and the bonding resin (C) are exposed is provided. A plurality of structures can be bonded with high bonding strength and allows for the bonding boundary thereof to have favorable smoothness, thereby making it possible to mitigate warping and reduce weight and thickness even when the molded body has a board constituent member.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING PLATE-LIKE BODY WITH RESIN FRAME, AND PLATE-LIKE BODY WITH RESIN FRAME
A process for producing a plate-like body with a resin frame having a decorative molding, wherein the decorative molding includes a main part and a film formed on a surface and has a design part exposed on a surface of the resin frame and an embedded part in the resin frame. The film continuously covers the design part and the embedded part. The process includes a step of mounting the decorative molding on a mold for forming the resin frame and further mounting a plate-like body, and a step of injecting a molten resin into a cavity of the mold and forming a resin frame with the decorative molding thereon into a window glass while a film at a portion located at a boundary between the design part and the embedded part is pressed against the mold by an injection pressure of the molten resin and thermally deformed.
Gear manufacturing method and gear
A gear manufacturing method, the gear including an annular gear portion including teeth on an outer periphery, an annular support portion provided on an inner peripheral surface of the gear portion and supporting the gear portion, and a core portion provided inside the support portion, the method includes: a support portion molding step of molding the support portion by disposing the gear portion and the core portion in an annular mold and filling a resin between the gear portion and the core portion; and a support portion cooling step of cooling the support portion molded in the support portion molding step, a radial gap between the teeth of the gear portion and the mold before the support portion molding step is set to be smaller than a radial shrinkage amount of the support portion in the support portion cooling step.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THREE-DIMENSIONAL ITEMS WITH FLEXIBLE WALLS
A method for manufacturing three-dimensional items with flexible walls is provided, by method of a mold and counter mold between which a volume corresponding to that of the item to be obtained is delimited. The item is made up of laminar parts which are mounted on a template that is fixed to the inner surface of the mold. The laminar parts are joined to one another by means of a material which is injected in molten state through a network of conduits delimited between the counter mold, template and the facing edges of adjacent laminar parts. The template is made of an elastically deformable material and has a three-dimensional configuration.
Wafer-level methods for packing camera modules, and associated camera modules
A wafer-level method for packaging a plurality of camera modules includes (a) overmolding a first housing material around a plurality of image sensors to produce a first wafer of packaged image sensors, (b) seating a plurality of lens units in the first wafer above the plurality of image sensors, respectively, and (d) overmolding a second housing material over the first wafer and around the lens units to form a second wafer of packaged camera modules, wherein each of the packaged camera modules includes one of the image sensors and one of the lens units, and the second housing material cooperates with the first housing material to secure the lens units in the second wafer.
MOLDED BODY AND SHAPING MOLD
A molded body includes: a first resin part; a metal part that is covered by the first resin part and that has a protrusion portion which protrudes from a first end portion of the first resin part; and a second resin part that has a second end portion which is positioned on an opposite side of the protrusion portion with respect to the first end portion in an extension direction of the protrusion portion and that covers the first resin part in a state where the first resin part protrudes in the extension direction.
