Agricultural Ground Opener Depth Adjustment Mechanism
Ground opener units for agricultural seeding machinery and the like utilise a gauge wheel and associated depth adjustment mechanism for regulating the penetration depth of the disk opener in use. An improved gauge wheel adjustment assembly comprises a spindle adapted to be rotatably supported in a spindle sleeve, the spindle having a shaft with a first end with a rectangular boss adapted for engagement with a depth adjustment handle of the disk opener and a second end with a tapered spline engagement formation. A gauge wheel support arm has a complementary tapered spline formation for engagement with the spindle second end.
Universal row clearer bracket system and method
A universal row clearing bracket including a mounting bracket configured to engage a toolbar of a tractor, wherein the mounting bracket may have a yoke engaged therewith. The yoke may connect to a first and second pivoting arm. One end of the pivoting arms configured to engage the yoke such that the yoke prevents the pivoting arms from moving with respect to the receiver past a certain point in at least one direction. The opposite end of the pivoting arms connecting to an interchangeable shoe, the interchangeable shoe configured to pivotally engage at least one engaging wheel and be replaced for other shoes to support different size engaging wheels.

Placing unit having a bracing assembly and seeder comprising such units
A placing unit for a seed drill includes at least two furrow-opening disks and at least two devices for delivery of particulate products from at least one reservoir, the respective ejection outlets of which are situated between the two opener disks in a manner mutually offset along the direction of advance. The placing unit also includes a body carrying the disks and devices. The placing unit includes an elongated assembly for firming of the product or products deposited at the bottom of the furrow, and an interface for linking with the body for the seed-firming assembly, which includes an end for fixation with the interface and an opposite bracing end. The linking interface includes at least two fixation sites for the corresponding end of the assembly, offset longitudinally relative to one another along the direction of advance.
SEED PLANTER WITH EQUALIZER ASSEMBLY
A bracket for use with an agriculture planter including a trailing arm frame defining a pivot point thereon may include an arm bracket assembly with first and second arms. Each arm may extend from a middle portion of the bracket. First and second implements may be rotatably mounted on mounting ends of two of the arms. The middle portion of the bracket may be pivotally coupled to the trailing arm frame at the pivot point.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXTENDING THE SERVICE LIFE OF AN AGRICULTURAL PLANTER
An agricultural planter and tractor combination which has a connection therebetween which comprises a stationary support arm coupled to the tractor and a pivoting support arm coupled to the agricultural planter with a connecting threaded member extended therethrough and a rotation-limited intermediate member with two protrusions extending into voids in the pivoting support arm so that the pivoting support arm will not rotate around the connecting threaded member and the connecting threaded member further translated through a portion of a hex-headed bushing and rotationally advanced through another portion, and a terminal nut also rotationally advanced over the connecting threaded member. The rotation-limited intermediate member is made of a harder more durable material than the connecting threaded member, the stationary support arm and the pivoting support arm.
Sowing unit for a sowing machine
A sowing unit for a sowing machine that comprises a coupling device, a joint device provided between the coupling device and a support device with separate fastening points for functional components, and a sowing heart which meters a work product is disclosed. The support device has a proximal support arm, which couples to the joint device, and a distal support arm, which, on a side of the proximal support arm facing away from the joint device, extends away from the proximal support arm, and on which the sowing heart is arranged laterally in the area of an assembly section in such a way that a rear side of the sowing heart is arranged so as to be located opposite to the assembly section of the distal support arm and a front side of the sowing heart is arranged so as to be unobstructed by the support device.
Apparatus and method for performing tasks on a pattern planted field
An agricultural machine system for performing agricultural tasks in a in a field on which plants are planted or will be planted in a pattern, the system comprising: a prime mover; a tool bar connected to the prime mover; a plurality of units attached to the tool bar, the units configured to perform at least one agricultural tasks and wherein at least two of the units are disposed in an offset relationship from each other with respect to a forward direction of travel of the agricultural machine about the tool bar; and a control unit in communication with the prime mover and the plurality of units, the control unit configured to determine a selective location corresponding to the pattern in which plants are planted or will be planted and activate the units at the selective location to perform the at least one agricultural task as the agricultural machine system travels along a plurality of rows.
System for monitoring seedbed floor conditions and related methods
In one aspect, a system for monitoring seedbed floor conditions within a field may include a frame and a wheel coupled to the frame. The wheel may be configured to support the frame relative to a soil surface of the field as the frame is moved across the field. The system may also include a support arm pivotably coupled to the frame and a disc coupled to the support arm, with the disc configured to penetrate the soil surface of the field and roll relative to a seedbed floor within the field. Furthermore, the system may include a sensor configured to detect pivotable motion of the support arm relative to the frame. As such, the pivotable motion of the support arm may be indicative of variations in a profile of the seedbed floor as the ground engaging assembly is moved across the field.
SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR DOWNSPOUT RETENTION
Systems and method for retaining a downspout onto a spout are disclosed. The downspout may be retained on the spout using hook and loop fasteners. In some implementations, a portion of a spout may include a first portion of a hook and loop fastener and the downspout may include a second portion of the first hook and loop faster. The first and second portions of the hook and loop faster are complimentary such that the first and second portions of the hook and loop fastener combine to interlocking secure the downspout and the spout together.
